- Αgios Nikolaos is located on the north coast of Crete on the west side of Mirambelo gulf in region of Lasithi in East side of the island.
The city took it s name from the byzantine church of Agios Nikolaos that is builded at the bay
The distance from Heraklion is 70 kilometers and the population of the city is about 20000

AN is just that place which, according to my opinion, is not possible to catch or express its atmosphere by photos, videos, postcards etc. Before I visited AN, I didn't have any extra expectations about it. But when I arrived... then it got me. I think it's quite romantic town, but let me know when was the video made? Because I see no people, it's empty that time there.
Kalimera!!!Agree with you in every word 😃 ....it is a romantic town even if the other Cretan cities look more romantic becouse of the venecian architecture at ports ...the vibes of the city are amazing and no way express them in videos or photos ,we try just to give a small taste in this video 😃 AN is a must if you visit Crete,the video was made on 12 of last June before the opening of the season thats why it looks not busy.....season opened unfortunately late last summer on 1/7 becouse of covid....

Thanks for your comment!it s not just the lake it s also the port the marina behind and also some panoramic shots of the city!NO DEFINATELY NOT it s not only this Agios Nikolaos,but you cant have everything in a short video and we need also to have enough reasons for a next one in the future!!!any tips are very welcome!!!!
