  • In this video I show you an awesome drill for becoming better at 3D archery. In my experience there’s 3 things that are critical to learn.
1- How to lead off on a blank target for a 12
2- Learning to use your sight for aiming off
3- Make a arrow land between two that are already marking your impact point.
This is how I use a full round to properly execute all 3 training principles in one practice end.

I love your instruction video. You have an easy to understand way of explaining your shot process.

The trick here folks is you gotta be able to hold so finely steady and there’s the rub! Sweet! My nemesis is that new wolverine on the ASA courses.

Seems like a good discipline training . I use a cheap spotascope with a old ipad on my spotting scope you can just look at the iPad and if you look quick enough you can see the arrow hit I guess there is a milli second delay in the wi fi

I noticed it didn't' look like you were locking in your sight when you adjusted for distance. Is this something you do just in practice? I feel like on my sight that lever would be moving around a lot

You are absolutely insanely accurate. How many arrows do you shoot per day?

I always carry an arrow with black fletching and black nock in case I’m up first and make a good shot, the guy following me won’t have an aiming point from my arrow

how do you adjust "half a yard" on a sight tape for this distance and an arrow that has - I assume - a speed close to 300 fps 😒?

An awesome drill, but how many can actually shoot as well as you to do this drill. 40 yards is really a chip shot for so many. Guess they could do 20? Anyway, a great drill for teaching the value of not rushing , maintaining control and focusing.

Always upper on the panther. For me, lots more room for error.

  • @hunterking94

I just want to know if you move all your targets before you mow your grass😂?

Honestly i kinda disagree with you on that advise by adding yardage. The reason is that first of all you need to guess the distance correctly. In case you are not right and first arrow lands higher or lower you still do not know the distance. You can not be shure how much you need to add but you can certainly remind where was your aiming spot and aim higher or lower. I got this by practice and it works
