Curry at 6'3 is able to do more than a lot of those guys nick and Antwan mentioned. Steph impact of the game is greater than most of them.
Who are you putting him above that nick mentioned?
@@mindyourbuisness8104 Lebron
The only thing he’s able to do that the others can’t is shoot 3s better than anyone in NBA history. Other than that, everyone in the top 10 does nearly everything else better.
@@SandManSadiq you obviously don't know the game of basketball with that kind of statement. Sure Steph can shoot 3pt but it's his gravity that allows his teammates to function and makes the warriors offense harder to defend than anyone. That's called impact on the game without really scoring at 6'3 ft tall. You're just a novice so stop making idiotic statements.
@@vh2712 So? You Curry fans love talking about “scoring gravity” like Curry’s the only player that has it, and it’s due to his elite ability to shoot which further proves my point. The only thing he has over any of the top 10 is his 3pt shooting. Other than that, everyone else in the top 10 does nearly everything better.
It is unfair to talk about Steph as if all he does is take threes. He is also one of the best drivers of the basketball.
It’s similar to how people say MJ is “just a scorer”. Lazy/pathetic analysis
Most analyst can't seem to comprehend the staggering presence of Steph on court. It came to me so clearly when watching these Conference Finals. The games between Miami and Boston look like all the players are clustered inside the 3 point lane, while in the Western series, defense is spread out all the way to mid court. There's your IMPACT right there.
Curry the most impactful player since Michael Jordan 💯... when he's on the court his shooting ability draws the defense way out, creates more spacing and opens up the whole floor for other guys 🏀🏀🏀

There’s a reason curry led real plus minus so many years
Steph’s shooting is so good he would’ve been a top 5 in any era with a 3-point line. If Dubs win two more rings (including this year) I don’t think I’d hesitate to say he’s better than Shaq and maybe Kobe. I doubt Antoine would ever admit that.

The three point line has been in the NBA since 1979. It took 35 years for a player like Steph Curry to come along and fundamentally change the way basketball is played. He’s the greatest shooter of all time in a game where putting the ball in the basket more times than your opponent is the key to winning. If you’re measuring a player’s impact on the game of basketball he’s easily top 5.
Well said!
30! Top 30! Bruh Steph at least top 20
Top 15
The reasons people penalize and under rate steph are the same reasons we glorified and praised players like Tim Duncan
Antoine opinion immediately revoked , top 30?? This guy hatin
His impact on a game is not as much about shooting 3's, as it is about respectin the game and playing it in its purest form. Steph never stops moving, whether he has the ball or not. He works relentlessly but always has fun. The ball stays moving, good shots are passed up for great shots, EVERYBODY plays defense, everybody gets to play. He changed the game far more than bombing 3s
Right.... Steph don't just be jacking up 3s just for doing it sakw. He also drives into the paint alot and opts for 2 pointers over the 3 pointer on many occasions.
Everyone loves to call him top 10 until it gets down to brass tax and you have to actually put him ahead of some all-time greats. Nick's opening line was the best lol
I got him ahead of Hakeem, West, KD, and Oscar- but behind Duncan, Shaq, and Kobe.
It goes for me: MJ, LeBron, Kareem, Magic, Wilt, Russell, Bird, Tim, Shaq, Kobe. That’s ten. That puts Steph at 11. And he’s my favorite athlete of all time so plz win a few more rings so I can put him in the top ten!
Magic and Bird were amazing but I wonder if they would be as successful in an NBA with as much parity as today. For Steph to be as dominant as he's been in such a broad and competitive NBA it's truly a testament to his greatness.
@@joonpak Kobe definitely ahead of bird, Duncan, Shaq

“Hating” on Steph would be saying he top 20 saying he’s top 30 is crazy
that’s why it should be separated into too smalls of all-time and top bigs of all-time because being a guard is VASTLY different than being a big and how you can affect the game. it’s easier to be a top player at 6’6+ and athletic vs being 6’2…also it’s wild that steph has beat a top two player all-time in the finals (once by himself) and then two other times but not considered top 10 let alone 15 is insane

Impact on winning: Lebrun is #1. He literally gave all nba players a new pathway to win. Without him moving to Miami on his own accord, kd doesn’t go to golden state. And Steph might still be at 1 ring. Steph might be #2 on impact list for me. He has even big men trying to shoot threes.
Hey Nick, how many teams have come back from a 4-1 deficit?
Antoine Walker just went from 0 to Skip Bayless with that take. 🤦🏻♂️
He’s 11 atm but when win this Finals MVP and his 4th ring he’s TOP 10 no question .

Meanwhile, Steph looks up to Reggie Miller and Ray Allen, dude himself did not and never insert himself on GOAT conversation but rather the like to be called the best shooter title in the planet.

I think he's number 10 or 9 all time for me right now. I got him ahead of Hakeem and Larry and I think his resume is on par with Shaq
How is he ahead of Hakeem who is probably the greatest defender in nba history and one of the moat skilled players regardless of positions in nba history as well as only 2 players to win a title without another all star on their roster that season, hes not better than him, hes definitely not better than Larry Bird who won 3 consecutive mvps was a much better all around player than Steph and has Finals MVPS something Curry never accomplished and Shaq is worlds better than Steph, 3 consecutive rings with 3 Finals MVPS, stop it Curry is just outside the top 10 like 12th
Shaq has 3 finals mvps. Steph still only has 1 title without kd so now he can't be ahead of larry
He’s not ahead of Bird. Please.
You guys can argue all you want about it but for me, just off of what I've seen and the total amount of accolades, I've got him rn number 9 or 10 all time. I've watched a lot of players play and I've watched replays of older games with guys like bird and I 100% believe that curry is in the 9 or 10 spot on the all time list. But that's just my opinion. When we get to this place, we're splitting hairs at this point
Let's see if his resume is on par with Shaq:
Shaq Steph
14x All-NBA 8x All-NBA
3x All-Defensive 0x All-Defensive
1x MVP 2x MVP
4x NBA champ 3x NBA champ
3x Finals MVP 0x Finals MVP
Doesn't look like it's on par to me lol
And you said he is ahead of Bird, let's see:
Bird Steph
10x All-NBA 8x All-NBA
3x All-Defensive 0x All-Defensive
3x MVP 2x MVP
3x NBA champ 3x NBA champ
2x Finals MVP 0x Finals MVP
Bird also clears Steph 🤣

It's really just the best guards usually define a generation and who the kids try to emulate because the things they do are easier to achieve size wise, before this 3 pointer craze kids wanted handles like Hardaway, A.I and others to the point it created those and1 mixtapes.
If you cant admit that steph is at least top 12 bare minimum, then you just don't like him and that's okay. But top 30.... come on bruh
So many people want to discredit Steph even for what's he done, it's blasphemous
Allen Iverson changed the culture
Top 20, maybe when he’s done he’ll be near the top 10. He’s not done. But none of this is an insult. He is an absolute all-time great.
i'm a warriors fan and Nick Wright's argument is very logical and sound.. i hate people who just say top 10 or top 5 but don't exactly name each player...

Steph Curry is the 1st person in NBA HISTORY that you have to guard from 35ft... all the time did Walker forget how to play basketball because that alone puts him in the top 30 not to mention EVERYTHING else Steph has accomplished
There is a big difference between being a top 10 player and having a top 10 career. People forget that when making judgements on these kinds of lists. different eras and rule changes as well
Steph Curry has one of the highest +/- in the playoffs per game in history.
I fast forward when atwoine speaks
Kobe/Bird/Duncan? Hakeem needs to be in that group.
Antoine please stop!!!! 💀😂
Antwan needs to be put on probation for this one
Last time Walker made the same argument in his local barber shop, someone took one of his ears as punishment
Why they talk about top 10 players and comparing steph to LeBron and Shaq this are basketball players play with different role, they are not a tennis player to compare with the same player. In basketball there is a PG SG, Forward, power forward and Center all of them is playing a important role to win the game of basketball
It’s my opinion but the man has changed the game, ain’t too many that did that but I I agree that he I may not be too 10 but he is close. But does it matters?? He is a HOF regardless 💪🏾💪🏾
If I have the number one pick in an all-time draft to build a team, Steph, Magic, or Bird are the pick. This is a team game and no one helps a team more than those guys. No one! It's not even close.
Alot of people always said that one thing is missing in steph curry trophy case. The should think like this Micheal Jordan, LeBron, KD, your top 10 never win unanimous mvp. How many time did steph curry beat LeBron, how many top 10 player lead their team to 73 win, how many top ten players change the way you shoot basket. Basketball is about putting ball on the basket
Hakeem is undoubtedly > Steph. He’s top4-6 honestly and was great offensively also! If Hakeem and Russell/Wilt/Kareem/Shaq/Duncan switched careers and Hakeem got to play with all the HOF players/coaches they got to he’d have 2x-6x more titles then the 2 he has!
Antoine Walker is smoking work

Wildes was trying to make an argument in support of Steph but he actually made it in support of LBJ. If every kid is doing what you are doing, you can't be as great as someone who cannot be emulated by kids, even if they tried.
Can anyone emulate curry's shooting. Off the dribble, catch and shoot, running of screens. Guys compared him to trae young and that was a joke.
You can't actually emulate what Steph does. It LOOKS attainable, but the talent actually isn't. Steph created a league of dudes jacking up 3s and none of them have achieved what he's done already.
@@thalegendarydruss they can at least make the attempt. But not with LeBron
So MJ wasn't that great because people could emulate what he did or does that argument sound silly now

bird is 6th or 7th hakeem and shaq are 9-10th interchangable kobe 11. if steph wins chip its 11 if he wins fmvp hes top 10 for either shaq or hakeem
When talking about top 10, it should be who would have been able to make the necessary adjustments to dominate ANY era. Shaq can't make that list because he wouldn't be able to play on the perimeter on either sides of the court in this era. Someone like Wilt would have still been dominant because he was a multitalented athlete who made the HOF an 2 completely different sports. Based on those two examples, you can judge who is top 10.
I'm not sure how old you are, but Shaq would still be dominant in this Era. Young Shaq is comparable to giannis. How he would've grown from there is up in the air. Embiid shows you can still be dominant from the post. Being able to shoot is a great bonus, but the defense is thankful every time embiid decides to shoot vs going into the post. Shaq would punish defense all night and force you to double team
Shaq would dominate any center in todays league. Back than, he had to deal with Yao Ming, Duncan, Robinson, Wallace, and a handful more and he still put up monster numbers. If he played today, who the heck is preventing him from an easy dunk? Maybe Embiid? Shaq could play today easily. In fact, the spacing the 3’s create makes it harder to double on the post.
Anybody who says he is only top 30 doesn't know basketball. Lol! He is already top 15 in my opinion based on his resume and can climb up to being top 10 all time when he retires.
Can we please stop saying Larry Bird wasn't a great defender??
