My dad’s from Boro, mums from liverpool. I love both. My dad is from Southbank, and him and all of his family are huge Boro fans. UTB
I still remember the two back to back comebacks againt Basel and Steua Buurest in Uefa Cup being 3 nill down on aggregate, amazing nights and what a run that was , the final as you said the result was misleading and im sure the fans were proud of the lads effort the whole tournaments, great video Olly as always 👏❤
First season I fell in love with the boro , 96-97 what a year. Born and bred just outside of Reading , old man grew up in Redcar. Wouldn't change a thing!
Im a boro fan, from down south, my dad was born in Middlesbrough lived there until he was 13 moved to london, then to clacton on sea (if you know where that is well done cos not many people do) where i was born and he influenced me alot in becoming a boro fan he said i can support any team i want but i chose boro anyway im now coming up to 21 been a boro fan for god knows how many years i now actually live in Middlesbrough but not cos of the team I support but cos if family complications
Brill Vid Mate ....Im 67 now but best season for me was when Jack Charlton in charge ! Back in 1974 We won promotion to division 1 ....as it was ....with 7 games to go and as Champions 6 games to go ! Won 1-0 away at Luton and I was there ....David Mills Scoring ! Superb .....used to go home and away then but now its TV highlights or live games in pub .....thoroughly mate !
Anyone who calls you a glory hunter for supporting Boro is insane haha. Weve won 1 cup in our entire history (I was there haha)

I was in the mss when i lived in east anglia and then london. Loads with similar stories with yourself, if not from boro their gamilies were. And a pizza shop in stratford that did parmos. After 7 years i returned home. UTFB
Not a Middlesbrough or United fan myself, but as a kid I saw Middlesbrough Vs United at Old Trafford and Rooney missed a penalty badly!

Born and bred in Boro moved to Tamworth early 90's. Still had a seson ticket for over 20 years. Go to away games as much as poss. Was at the west brom game , gutting but its only half hour away. My kids are both Boro mas. Dropoed my girl off at Kent uni last week. 1st day there she wore her Boro shirt around campus. Yes Leah, represent. All the best mate, respect. My dad is a boro fan but wouldn’t let me support Boro being from London myself. Though I’ve had some great memories with Dad such as the 2004 cup final and the Basel quarter final. Also some stinkers in there too though.

Same as me mate , moved to Norfolk when I was 3 , 41 now and passed it down to my daughter she’s 13 and boro mad, West Brom for us tomorrow and riverside next wk, as for that day at Wembley against norwich , had to watch that , then sit on whole train full of them, whilst sitting in my boro shirt 😂 f**kin hate them 😆

Boro s 1st game at the riverside was chelsea .boro won 2-0 hignett scored 1st riverside goal😂

I live in Bradford....But my Grandad was born in Boro and I've still got relatives up there....I've followed Boro for 50 years....First player I got close to on my first visit to Ayresome Park as a 6 year old was John Craggs who was taking a corner and I was sat on the wall in that corner......My Grandads not here now but I've always followed The mighty Boro since like forever....
