Harlyx. You must love yourself before you can love another. Don’t feel unstable. Fell stable and confident. We all have a past that at times hurt us. Me included. But you have to think for yourself to recognize the hurt that people can do. Do not be discouraged by previous hurt. Experience enjoyment that you overcame the hurt. Hurt isn’t death. Hurt is a feeling that occurs during a relationship that you may not have expected. That’s life. Hurt is when your partner cheats on you. Yes that hurts. But cheating isn’t the worst thing in life. It’s just sex. Like women and men do. A hurdle to overcome but not insurmountable if you care.

Why did so many people hate disco? I love disco songs
There was an alternate rock genre *with bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd) who preferred more grungy Southern rock music rather than the pretty glitzy disco tunes.
It was mostly hard rock fans & DJ's who hated on it cuz they thought they were "Too cool for school" to like what was popular. And, back in the 80’s, some DJ’s refused to play Bee Gee songs, on Pop radio, even though the band had changed their style.
Cherish G disco is nice music 2000 kids don't know music
take a look at the prelude to "disco demolition night" and it tells a little darker story than you might think.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disco_Demolition_Night
There are also some people who would argue that disco was seen as effeminate or too close to the African-American culture and was as such hated by a large majority of people. You’ve gotta remember about the social and racial situations in the 70s.

ONE OF THE BEST AND MOST UNDERRATED GROUPS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree that they were one of the best, but underrated? They were ENORMOUSLY popular. lol
Underrated and Popular are not quite the same things. There were "Bee Gee Free Weekends" on the radio. No other group ever
had this done to them..........
up there with the Beatles and the stones
True one of the best of all time
Underrated? I don't think so at all. But now with Maurice and Robin gone the band is no more. So sorry for Barry. I still love him though.
Just noticed the title of this song - whenever I hear it on the radio it sounds like they are singing "Bald headed woman".

The only thing I hate about this song is that it ends!
In my personal opinion the Bee Gees are unrivalled in their musical genius. So many people are unaware of the number of classic hits which were written by Barry Gibb and the Bee Gees for other artists such as Dolly Parton and Diana Ross to name a couple. I grew up listening to hip hop, house and techno, but I always had an appreciation for anyone who could churn out timeless pieces of music like this with seemingly no effort whatsoever. Nobody writes music like this anymore.
I agree. I miss them.
I absolutely love this song!!! Pure poetry and what a great tune!! I especially like the parts where Robin and Maurice harmonize. The Bee Gees were SO talented.

"Say you'll always be my baby we can make it shine. We can take forever just a minute at a time." - could easily be the most beautiful hook in songwriting history. Actually the whole song is a hook, very special song in every aspect.
James C You just hit a home run with those comments TRUE DAT! !
Agreed.
The strings going up the scales is what gets me from this song. So simple, yet so great.
Oh, girl, I've known you very well
I've seen you growing every day
I never really looked before
But now you take my breath away
Suddenly you're in my life
Part of everything I do
You got me working day and night
Just tryin' to keep a hold on you
Here in your arms I found my paradise
My only chance for happiness
And if I lose you now, I think I would die
Oh, say you'll always be my baby, we can make it shine
We can take forever, just a minute at a time
More than a woman
More than a woman to me
More than a woman
More than a woman to me
There are stories old and true
Of people so in love like you and me
And I can see myself
Let history repeat itself
Reflecting how I feel for you
Thinking 'bout those people then
I know that in a thousand years
I'd fall in love with you again
This is the only way that we should fly
This is the only way to go
And if I lose your love, I know I would die
Oh, say you'll always be my baby, we can make it shine
We can take forever, just a minute at a time
More than a woman
More than a woman to me
More than a woman (ooh, my baby)
More than a woman to me
Hey
More than a woman
More than a woman to me (oh, so much more)
More than a woman (oh, baby)
More than a woman to me
More than a woman
More than a woman to me
