Google Display Network Targeting - Complete Guide To Targeting Options For Google Display Ads

  • When you are creating and managing Google Display Network Ads campaigns, your Google Display Targeting is very important for your success. Whether you are trying to drive conversions, brand awareness, or both, there are different audiences and content you can target with your advertisements. Ultimately, you want to reach the audiences that are interested in your products and/or services and you want to reach them at the right times as they browse certain websites, certain videos, certain CZcams channels, and mobile Apps as well.
    When you are creating your Google Display Ads campaign, you have the option to target different types of audiences. You can create your own Remarketing/Retargeting audiences using your website, your CZcams channel, your mobile App, and other sources as well. In addition, you can target Similar Audiences, which are created based on your Remarketing audiences. Next, there are In-Market audiences, Custom Intent audiences, Life Event audiences, Affinity Audiences, Custom Affinity Audiences, and Demographics. You can create your own audiences by going directly to the Google Ads Audience Manager as well.

    Thank you, You have amazing knowledge. I have a question. I am targeting USA for Display ads. but getting traffic from India. I have already selected USA as targeted Location with 2nd option and below selected excluded presence and interest. still i am setting traffic from India and African counties. Do i have to add all locations as exclusions?

    Google search terms and In-market keywords

    I have few queries regarding remarketing campaigns and conversions
    I am confused about remarketing campaigns..can we run search remarketing campaigns? if it is possible then we will use keywords in a remarketing campaign or not as search campaigns based on keywords. same questions for display campaigns should we use keywords or placements or content for display remarketing campaigns?
    Another question is how we can specific goals in specific campaigns?

    Hi, extremely helpful vide (as are all your videos) I subscribed a while ago when I was learning about fb ads. As for google ads I have a question - if I have more than one type of audience targeted in the SAME ad group. For example I target "in-market" and "custom" audience, then when I look on my tracking data will I be able to see EACH of the two types of audience (in market and custom) SEPARATELY or will they be lumped TOGETHER. Hope you can clarify this for me, thanks so much, Marianne
