No, Alfred confirmed that there was nothing special or manipulated about the Toxin. Batman thought there must have been something done to suppress the effects, but it's just him.

Why would you want one when the story is hard to follow, disjointed, and all over the place. time skips and the jumping between the flashbacks as well as the A plot with batman and the B plot with gordon ruin the pacing. The story does nothing to give context for random story elements like the randomly appearing bruce waynes. If this story attempts to stand on its own then it completely fails, readers are left confused by the amaount of nonsense thats thrown onto the page. The Story focuses too much on tryng to be shocking and edgy and doesnt allow time to explore the mind of bruce, so much of this story relies on plot convience like, "oh my joker must have given me even more time to resist" just half ass lazy writing all around

i love when joker and batman share a laugh, it's always so "everything is so bad all you can do is laugh" type of moments that truly makes the shared laughter on both sides, meaningful... by bad I mean the in verse situations not the structure of the story itself.

@@Davidscomix Nah in my opinion it was pretty weak. The part where you played as Joker was good but after that it just fell flat. Not only was there no final boss but Red Hood randomly saving Batman for seemingly no reason felt super forced and Scarecrow went down with hardly any fight.
And the fact that you have to spend tens of hours doing all the side quests (not including all the Riddler stuff) just so you can get the actual ending just feels like an insult to injury. And even worse the Knightfall ending itself was pretty lackluster and predictable (besides the Calendar Man Easter egg which was actually really cool). I still don’t understand why they sequel baited with the nightmare Batman when they knew that they weren’t going to make any sequels after that one. It just didn’t work.

Consider having a few other voice actors come in to read the lines of certain characters while you narrate. You read everything in a very loud and exciting tone, which is great, it just makes it very hard to differentiate characters, especially in dialogue

I think the Joker killed himself. Because in issue 1 or 2, when joker fired the gun to batman, it was a trick. The bullet fired from the back in which joker shot himself to release the toxin to infect batman in which he will become BWL to defeat the BWL. So, maybe joker killed himself because we didnt see him at the ending. Bruce lives, batman who laughs lives, joker dies.

Apparently this comic wasn't very popular from what I heard, but even as someone who isn't into Marvel or DC, I always loved the Dark Multiverse Batmen. Still surprised there hasn't been an animated film about it

@Ward Ulens I've read the JoJo's bizarre adventure series 5 times till part 8(call me a weeb idc), i don't remember any time skips . The time skips are what make the comics confusing plus this story doesn't focus a lot on a single character and has a lot of flashbacks just coming in
It is strangely wonderful to see Joker actually helping save Batman and Gotham.☺
And outstanding to see that, for all the *combined* knowledge and understanding of Batman *and* Joker, Laughs *never* considered the possibility of Joker tampering with the virus.
Just goes to show, no matter how much you know and think like the Joker, chaos is still chaos.

I low key respect the Grim Knight. To me, he is what Batman would be in a realistic setting that didn't use plot devices to make batman moral. But I'm a 40k fan so the Grim Knight resembles a 40k character and I like that lol.

This is the best alternate Batman story to me. Batman's mind with the Joker's madness makes one of the most dangerous people alive.
It's an idea that's obviously been toyed with in the entire Batman/Joker dynamic, as Joker tries to make Batman break his rules and play more by his own laws of chaos. But making it a literal thing, of Batman becoming the Joker, while still keeping the gothic horror and intelligence of Batman...I'm surprised it hasn't been done before, but it's done so well here I'm not even mad about that.
