JAPAN'S CAT ISLAND | Tashirojima, Miyagi

Tashirojima is a small, rural island off the coast of central Ishinomaki City in Miyagi Prefecture. Informally known as "Cat Island", Tashirojima is inhabited by several hundred felines, which are cared for and worshiped by the island's human residents.
The cats were originally brought over to help with pest control around the island's silkworm farms, and since then their numbers have increased to the point that they now outnumber the island's aging human population by almost four to one.

Lehman, believe it or not I have a black male cat that looks very much like the cat at 12:30, and my cat is infamous for doing the exact same thing to any boxes that he can dig his claws into. I will be sharing this video with my family, we have four cats here at our home, so obviously we enjoy their company.

Do you think 2 hours of stay is enough there? Planning to go there using the 2nd ferry and 3rd ferry round trip or should we go there using the 1st ferry?
