Wait your R69 is part Russian? 🚫👨🔧
You guys are a great team
if SimpliSafe was in Canada id be all over it but there not
Legendary
if it overheated that means the oil got cooked and will need changing ?
Being an R69, I still say you need to get a personalized plate that says "nice"
The licence plate would have to be ODANJ(Oscar did a nice job)
or R69 GTR probably wouldn’t be taken. I don’t know if they would allow it though.
"noice"
R69420
69 is reserved for 1969 vehicles only in California anyways.
NiceGTR would be sweet though
need the front lower grilles and a rear gtr badge. great build!
Naww leave it non badged
I’m going to say it once again : best build you’ve ever done so far in my opinion. You took the best of both world and while I’m usually not a fan at all of the visible carbon fiber and big wings, on this car it’s almost a second nature, and you did it with great taste (OMG that midnight purple is incredible …) bravo Sir !
This is definitely a good build but I still think the 280z with the M5 power train was better
I agree 100%. Best build yet! Enjoy that beautiful machine!
Always impressed and inspired by your vision and you and your team’s hustle and determination. Love the whole concept of the swap and the results speak for themselves! Thank you for this great series!!
Tom we have been waiting for a new build from you it’s been so long we want to see something crazy like this
TOM I MISS YOUR VIDEOS 😔
TOM!!!!!!!!!!! More builds!!!!!!!!
We need the new Tesla video....much love Tom.
Miss your videos
Probably my favorite build, great job brother!
Agree with you
If it isn’t one of my favourite youtubers! Next project? 😂😂
I agree, I absolutely love it. My ONLY gripe is the small exhaust pipe tip, it should be wider. I mean that's literally nitpicking at it though.
The only thing is, I wished the V6 made the same sounds as the inline 6. Other than that it's perfect 😁
damn i just finished watching your most recent trike vid
Noo broo the wheels looks small I would like little bigger wheels and tires and lower it little bit and bro there is smoke coming out of it idk why but it's bad
@@yadhuprabhakumar2597 he said previously that konig are making a new style of wheel for it but that will take a while.
I imagine with some equal length exhaust manifolds into a big single it may be a bit closer In sound, would be interesting to see what that would sound like anyway!
GEFORCE TRANSMISSIONS!!!! Love it! You guys crushed it at Sick Week!
Turned out absolutely stunning. You guys always amaze me with your creative, quick solutions that turn out looking great. This build was an insane amount of work and would be extremely difficult for even the most experienced fabricators, let alone having to deal with cancer at the same time. Just mind boggling. The three of you really accomplished something that you all can be proud of.
I think im more excited for the new shop then I was to see the gtr finished. Watched you from your first R35 rebuild while you was renting the garage. Now to see you own that garage and getting a new one already just amazing
take it to nissan for a oil change! lol would love to see the Tech's reaction
Then carmax for an offer? 🤣
The BMW Fairlady Z use to be my favorite build ..... until now. Excellent job on this one. Kudos to you and the team on this one. This is one I'd love to own if I had the money.
Absolutely! My favorite two. ❤❤❤
Great build. The car is beautiful. The wrap is amazing and I like how it changes from blue to purple in different light. I came across your channel on the 1st GTR build and was immediately addicted to that build and have been been subscribed ever since. GTRs are dream cars for me. I look forward to your next build, and I wish you well. Peace !
Watching this build from start to finish, seeing all the hard work and effort to make it the way we saw in this video has truly inspired not only me but the rest of the car community and I’m pretty sure the rest of the world that’s been following this project! It’s not at all about the money, it’s about staying determined through the all hurtles you u leap over in life to get make that vision a reality. Whether it be your dream car, dream college, or dream job etc. So happy for you guys and I honestly look forward to seeing more greatness from the team! Thank you so much for sharing greatness like this to the world! 1 Luv💯🙏💜
It looks really good. I know there has been hate on the Wheels. from me too. They look better with the new tyres, and even better when in motion. proud of you and where you have got too! Hi to the team, thanks for all your hard work and the support to give to chris. xoxo
Yeah the tires really changed the look of the wheels. Not my fav, but I think they look great on this car!
@@miked7728 I think its because I have the same style on my purple Subaru Exiga sti
Its just the lip that bothers me, I still think they should of sprayed it all black, but it is what it is.
I absolutely love everything about this project so far,the color, the bodykit, the sound and the performance, only missing the rear GTR badge but whatever, that thing looks amazing, really worth all that time
Thanks Chris for another great build! Also for finishing builds and properly planning out your projects. Much appreciated from one engineer to another! Great project management
Oscar and Kyle both deserve some big props!! Good job guys. Unbelievable hard work and dedication.
Can we please see this next to Adam LZ's later this year!?????
...how about next to the RWMGB?
hes from oregon and adam in florida thats long trip haha
@@szarak512 about as far apart as possible in the US lol
@@quattroCrazy I'd go with Neah Bay, Washington to Key West, Florida as the farthest apart places in the contiguous U.S.
Doubt Adam would want this hacked POS anywhere near his work of art.
So unbelievably impressive and amazing. Hope to see it in person!
I'm normally only an R32 fan, none of the others excite me, but this is spot on. Love it. As much as I previously commented that a dark gold or bronze wheel would look good on this, but these wheels suit it so much.
So damn impressive what you guys are able to build out of that tiny garage. I really love this build. My favorite one you’ve done by far. Good job brotha…👊🏼
You’d be surprised what creativity and the tools to paint does to a mf
Such an awesome build Chris, great job! And thank God for Mexican test tracks!
Amazing work B is for Build Team! This was one of the best builds I’ve seen, if not the best.
I came across a reel of this on Facebook and someone in the comments mention B is for Build. I’ve just watched every episode on this build back to back and I’m blown away. It’s the sickest build I’ve ever seen so sick. It goes without saying I’m following the channel from now on and going through your other builds. Also I hope your health is going in the right direction, I’m sure I’ll get more updates as I watch some of your more recent content. I look forward to what’s to come.
Very cool. Nice job guys. This was probably my favorite build on your channel.
You’re my hero. This is such a cool build. You guys did an amazing job
This is an epic build! The quality is great. Please keep the quality at this level or higher as you go on!
Congrats on completing this one! It’s been fun to watch its progression and see the final product.
Worth every single penny bro. I like that you are running the nitto invo tires. Some channels have not had such good things to say about them but I have had them on my RS7 for 5 years ever since I put 21” HRE’s and I love them. Sticky and they are the best looking tire I have ever seen.
Such a nice series thank you for this I enjoyed it the whole way through and proud to become a member of such a good community
Dude, this build turned out amazing. Awesome work 🙌🙌🙌
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 this build was a blast to follow. Thank you for continuing to pursue your creative ideas! Looking forward to whatever comes next
Seriously love this build and I have been here for them all. Been some really great build but this one is really sweet. Can’t wait for the next vision. You have a great team.
Sweet job! And you can still keep making small improvements over time. Like carbon fiber door cards. I'm not really much of a fan of front splitters on the bumper corners, but I think you could get away with a couple modest sized ones on each side. In carbon of course and they would help extend the width of the front bumper to meet the width of the fenders, kinda help cover the tire sticking out past the bumper. The interior is great and the red in there is fine but when they wear out you can get them recovered to match the car better. Also wrapping the silver rims of the wheels midnight purp to match the car would make the wheels look much better. Such a killer car!
Say it with me now: OSCAR DID A GREAT JOB
Say it with me now: THEY ALL DID A GREAT JOB.
Stop hating tho! ALL DID A GREAT JOB.
Hater probably drives a 2003 clapped out honda😂😂😂 we know oscar is a big part of the channel but without the channel we probably won’t hear about him
Y'all calm down: "Oscar did a great job" is a B is for Build channel meme. Maybe don't assume everything on the internet is meant with malice in some way? We're all here to have fun and watch the entire crew build cool stuff so maybe relax a little and think before you assume the worst and start hurling accusations
@@sophia_petrillo truth!
Amazing work guys! Love the positivity Chris! Hope you're well!
It’s a great build Chris. We can see it makes you really proud and is an extension of yourself, which is what matter the most
This is an amazing build.... in Jamaica 🇯🇲 we say go hard or go home... and Chris you and team went hard!!!.... now a days when I tell my wife she's done a good job... she ask... like Oscar? 😄
Shout out to Dan at Terrafirma
Put it in the comments if I should shout out Dan at Terrafirma
Shoutout Dan at Dan's Rods and Customs
Is that gun Dan?! 😂
It's nice to see all that hard work come together and look so good!
Been a subscriber for a while, and I must say this has been my favorite build so far. You and your team really knocked it outta the park on this one.
absolutely the coolest build anywhere! better than any new gtr in my oppinion! you guys are awesome!
Car looks great, fun build to follow like the rest of them. Good job guys!
Chris. Thank you for this crazy build. I really enjoyed every single moment on this one. Its crazy to think that ive been watching your for years now. Heres to another one.
Just wanted to add that the car looks amazing and i like the idea that everything is still nissan on it. Its better than an original r34 theoretically
Epic build, came together better than I expected! This and your Z are my favs👌
I have enjoyed this build so much and am really looking forward to the next amazing project you have.
amazing job, my favourite build you have done this far. I always wanted a R34 but LHD. I am also super excited for the future redemption build.
I think we're all looking forward to the redemption build, wonder what it might be 🤔
Beautiful build! Happy for you!
Thanks for sharing!
So rad. Even more powerful to hear about your healing through the experience. Keep on creating and healing!
Loved the whole journey!
One of my favorite builds really enjoyed this one looking forward to seeing you guys expanding in a new workshop hope you all could get some lifts
i really enjoyed the change of pace on the video and not so serious moments. awesome video
It looks even better in those driving shots. This is my second favorite build behind Oscar's Mustang.
stay strong! we’re all here to support you
Love the car ❤️ watched this build from start to finish and enjoyed every part of it
That R69 is so dope brother. Wow. Love it. It cruising down the street is unreal! Congrats.
Loved seeing this come together. Well done Chris and the team.
My favourite build for sure, it turned out great! 👌👍
It looks great! Always impressed in the results of these crazy projects!
Congratulations on finishing the build! It turned out really nice! would love to see you guys do like a cars and coffee event with it.
Absolutely amazing job, you guys did you never cease to amaze me. Definitely by far one of the best custom build channels out there.
Its beautiful! Love how its turned out. The more you've built these with your team, it definitely shows me it can be done!
great job!!
Great build journey! Happy to see the finale all the best guys.
Well done Chris, Kyle and Oscar, it looks amazing, what a great job you've done. Hope we see a trip or something with the car soon.
And hope you are doing well health-wise Chris!
The car looks awesome! I would suggest a nice cleaning inside &outside and some engine bay work just to look better. Oh and a larger exhaust tip!
Project car is never done huh 😂
Well Chris it seems to me that you came out on top! $65k verses $170K you're winning!
at least $170k too
Been rocking with the channel way before the day you were laid off at your job. I remember that video where you basically had to make the choice look for another job or do this full time. You made the best choice! Keep these builds coming! Please do lots of videos of this car at track events its such an awesome car!
Looks phenomenal , speedy recovery and stoked for more !
I still think the 240/M5 is my favorite build but this thing is sweet. Really came together nicely. I’m sure you’ll continue to tweak it cosmetically over time and I can’t wait for those videos.
This is easily one of the best builds on youtube. The work you guys do and make it look easy is simply insane. Thanks for the awesome content, and best of luck with your treatments man, I hope things only improve from now one.
Peace !
Followed your build since day 1. And it turns out realy good! Looking forward for another GTR build! ✌🏼
Incredible work gents, been a pleasure watching this build
Anyone else notice that at 13:54 you can see the red paint super clear under the door handle?
The car was wrapped not painted. And it was done in house to show that everyone can do it with a little practice and effort.
honestly what you 3 guys do is incredible ,beautiful car ,cant wait to see whats next
Loved this series, loved the car, loved everything about this and I really hope we see some more crazy builds in the not so far future, all the love to you guys and stay safe, healthy and happy ✊
Best channel by far… been here since day one every 90s and early 2000s dream come true! With modern day r35 and street legal that’s legit. I’m the same way if it’s not legal why drive it daily and risk your chances been there done that. That legal part alone and your teams effort in labor of love is by far “priceless”. Another chapter in your life and memories for the entire world to feed upon. Inspirational content not just in for the subscribers! You push boundaries to next level goals! Can’t wait to see the next build. Hopefully the garage environment will never fade away. Makes your viewers connect one on one. My all time favorite content was the Evora. Lotus die hard haha. Praying you never shy away from your garage life. A big shop sometimes shys away people into thinking what you do comes easy. Hey but whatever happens pray the blessings of your health and crew to continue to further increase in good ways. Whether doing big things or small. God bless in all you stay stay healthy and strong thanks for always sharing your passion with your crew with the entire world on next levels!
The whole B is for Build team did an amazing job on the R69! Can't wait for the next build reveal 🤟
The R69 is fucking awesome!
gj dude i never thought through the series that the end result will be as good as this! bravo!
This was such an awesome build. Great job you guys!
I'm future builds could you include an estimation of the labour hours it took to build?
Building a car yourself always works out cheaper than buying the same thing new (if that's even possible), so it'd be interesting to see the combination of both cost and time.
Labor would be so much lol
They been working on it for 6 months, With the late nights but Chris being out and covid they probably have 2500-3200 manhours into this project
@@Gibbthegood so probably a solid 70-90k added on top would be a good rough estimate for labor in my eyes
I've put hundreds of hours just removing paint and other stuff getting my 78 falcon to bare metal to find all the rust.
The hours involved are insane, and sometimes I feel it'll just be easier to pay someone to do it, but then it gets very expensive.
(Australian XC Falcon).
This build is amazing. I've always wanted an R34, but gotta say I'd rather have the inline 6
Agreed RB26 just sounds so good, although I'm not sure it would have been the best for this build as the guys strong suit is more on the fabrication side as opposed to tuning. So the V6 makes more sense from that perspective being plug and play for the most part
Congrats on this absolutely amazing build
Man that came together so nicely! Great job guys
Yo this is rad! Skyline gang 💛❤️💙
Beautiful car!!!! Lots of hard work and labor of love went in this build! My guess would be about three times $65k for the labor. Don't think you could have gotten all that custom fabrication for free! Great looking, wonderful, gorgeous fast and super useable build!!! GREAT Job to all the B is for Build team!!! Enjoy, be safe and have fun driving always!!!!
You also have to consider he did it for CZcams so he was paid for that labor pretty decently maybe even more than what the labor and all the cost of the car was.
Loved this build. Really enjoyed this series, following as it unfold through the journey. Huge Kudos to all three of you for the great work on this one. Very interesting, very entertaining. Can't wait to see what you tackle next!!!!! (like many here, whatever you're currently working on, tends to quickly becomes my new favourite. So just keep making cool stuff!)
oh, but I would also like to see the boat running again. Strangely I found "B is for Build" because of the boat, but I keep coming back for the cars.
THIS R69 BUILD REALLY TURN OUT TO BE AN AMAZING CAR!! Wish I could build one too!!
Hats off to all of yall and to you for not letting anything slow you down and pushing through the tough times, all while building your dream car!! Awesome work!!
Love the projects, but i have to ask, what settings do you use to encode your videos? Video quality could use an upgrade!
Could be that or a bad 24-105 lens they are using. Quality from the Canon 6d Mk II they are using should be great.
Also can't seem to get the frame rate right. Some videos are smooth, others are choppy. It's very obvious at the beginning of the videos
"it's not that hard of a build" literally cut the car in half and welded it back together shorter
Brilliant build - on to the next one!! Been with you from the beginning. UK
Great looking build! Congrats on the completion!
I love how this thing turned out, but I wish you would've wrapped the trunk, and used different wheels on the final look. Lol.
Great work, looks great overall. I would look at improving the front fender bumper and door "flow" by making the front bumper flare out to meet the fender and some shroud at the end of the fender and start of the vents.
Congrats, awesome build guys!!
Great build guys!
What an amazing build! To see where it started and where it is now is amazing!
Great build guys I wasn't sure how I'd like the end result but you guys nailed it with the R69 👌🏼
What an awesome build! Great job B!!
