Thanks for the help here dude, this is such a minefield for a DAC novice like me. Quick question do you think the Hibi FC4 be a good choice to go with a pair of Oppo PM'S, specs for those > Frequency Response: 10 - 50kHz

This product is amazing in terms of SQ, technicalities and build quality, especially considering the price (ranging between 69-99 usd on some sales even cheaper). I'm not kidding, FC4 sounds like 200-250 dongle DAC in some cases even better. In my A-B comparison test with Neumann NDH20, Sennheiser HD650, Sennheiser ie600, Sennheiser ie 100 pro and Tripowin Olina SE, it sound like 95% you get from Questyle M15 for example which is almost 3 times more expensive and for some songs FC4 sounds even better than M15.
There are few downsides though. First one is hilarious firmware platform that Hiby provides so if you are not IT expert don't even try to make firmware update it will ruin your whole experience with this and other Hiby products. Second downside compatibility with iPhone (you`ll have to use apple camera adapter or some other OTG MFi adapter ranging between 10-50 usd depending on your budget and sound quality expectations)
How do they compare to Fiio BTR5
Can i use this on console via usb a connection?
Having issues with tidal master quality through hiby, bass distorts regardless of device, with tidal also, whenever its on exclusive mode the issue happens
Some people say they were able to solve this with a firmware update. You should e-mail hiby and explain the situation and they should send you the fixed firmware
Compared to Ibasso DC05, which one is better?

Just got it. Amazon sent the HIBY FC4, though I ordered the FOSI DS2. Rather than return the HIBY, I thought I’d try it. How long does it take to charge it out of the box? I’ve charged it for 15 hrs & it still shows the red indicator - not green. Any ideas?
It not battery powered it uses the phone or pc you plug it in so no need to charge it read the box amd manual its tells you how to use it the light tells you what mode you're in ect iam sure you worked it out by now anyway
My volume button never worked right and within one hour of using it the + side of the volume is stuck. Anyone else have this issue?

Anyone else have power issues when connected to iPhone ? If iPhone battery at 50% or lower it stops powering the fc4.

There is a fc3 with a round led indicator and the other fc3 have a little line led indicator.

Hiby FC4 Very much better, technically, better detail and warm sound direction
FC3 might be better for pure fidelity if you're using sensitive headphones or IEMs where you won't feel the lack of power, or if you're using it as a pure DAC plugged into a stronger amp. For FC4 there are measurement results from someone called L7 Audiolab that show its max power spec of 340 mW corresponds to huge distortion going up to 10%, so... it might not be a better design even if it's newer and bigger.
I have both meanwhile and I can’t hear any difference ,i use both with a Philips Fidelio X3 and both sounds fantastic.
Maybe I hear some difference when I get my Meze 109 Pro in some days.

Not just a adapter at the end of the original..
FC4 gets hot. While connected it admits a buzzing sound. The biggest flwed is the small length Type C cable it comes with. It really downgrades the full sound quality potential it was made to output and performed.
The moment you swap the cable to a full high quality Silver plated Oxygen free DAC cable, it's like night and day. It unleashes the full potential beast of sound quality it was meant to produce! Everything and every detail comes alive! All do to just having the right quality cable! 🤔
