Amber will melt hearing Marc's "You Sang to Me"
You got that right
Agree, but I’d personally love it more if they reacted to the Spanish version of it “Muy Dentro De Mi”
Agree. The first I heard of his: so catchy and beautiful!
Absolutely!!!
Hell, I melt every time I hear it. LOL
Celia Cruz - "La Vida es un Carnival". The horns are fantastic.
FINALLY!!!! Reactors always seem to forget about Latinos and our passionate music. Thank you for reacting to this! Mi gente!!!
So proud you listened to the pride of my island 🇵🇷
Marc Anthony has many accolades and broke barriers. Top selling salsa artist of all time... which is probably one of the reasons why it's difficult to sit still while listening to his music. Plenty of US and Latin Grammy wins.
You should check out more Santana. One of his most famous songs is *Oye Como Va.*
I 2nd Oye Como Va
Hey Stacey
@@chriso6719 Hey Chris
@@itsmedino Hey Dino
@@itsmedino Hi brother Dino! 🙂
"Vivir Mi Vida" this song reaches deep into my soul and gets me emotional EVERY TIME! I get totally lost in this song and by the end, my eyes are tearing up EVERY TIME!
It reminds of home a long time ago.
Same here, song should be reviewed with English subtitles.
#RobSquadReactions ... I don't speak or understand Spanish but what I have always loved about Music is a HIt is a Hit! The Rhythm is infectious...
Well said.
We used to go to a great dance club in Dallas. There were these 2 latinos that could flat out dance. Loved dancing with them.
One of the best vocalists of past few decades
Gloria Estefan and the Miami sound machine are from cuba. They were huge in the eighties.
CONGA
Mark Anthony is the best Salsa singer of today. Latin power baby.
Oh yes! I'm editing my post, I had forgotten that wonderful presentation: Luis Miguel, "La Incondicional - El Concierto" ❤
if you want to meet the "Latin Frank Sinatra" (said so by "THE Frank Sinatra" himself) check out Luis Miguel.
Yes! His voice is amazing!
Also add his version of “Somos Novios”. My favorite by him.
If you really want to see him as a performer and his great singing qualities listen to “La incondicional” el concierto. He shows his awesome improvisation abilities.
Marc Anthony is a HUGE DEAL, one of the best voices in Latin music. You should do “Valio La Pena (Salsa Version)” or “Aguanile” (By Hector Lavoe and Willie Colón) which he covered when he played Hector Lavoe in El Cantante
Oh my everytime I used to watch him I'd tell my daughter I need to marry him, she said you can't he's gay, I'm like I don't care he's nice eye candy, still love his 90s music, livin la vida loca 💓💓💓
@@RhondaRose5 Think this was meant for a Ricky Martin comment, but yes I’m down with some Ricky Martin suggestions “Vuelve” “Tal Vez” “Te Extraño, Te Olvido, Te Amo” “Maria”…all good songs 😊
Yes to Aguanile! His cover is amazing!
His version of Aguanile is 🤌🏽🔥
No lie. Every time I see this video...hear this song.....I get so emotional. I am not of the Latino community, but the New Yorker in me celebrates the love and unity that was shown. That man's voice moves me.
It's some times hard to choose which songs of his are my favorites because his voice is just beautiful. So much soul and heart poured into it. I just recently saw a clip on facebook of a blind boy moving to this song, in the audience. Marc came off the stage to hug him and sing the song into his ear. The boy started swaying to it. He told him encouraging words and kissed his forehead. That's the Marc Anthony I know and love. I cried. He's such a loving man and a living legend.
I'd like to see you react to an english speaking duet song he did for the Zorro soundtrack "Spend my lifetime loving you".
YES!!! Everything blackkatt777 said. The range Marc Anthony has is incredible and we are so very fortunate that he can perform in both Spanish and English. There is power in his voice regardless if he’s singing softly or not.
Please, please PLEASE react to “Spend My Lifetime Loving You” you won’t regret it.
My favorite Marc Anthony song is NEED TO KNOW. It swaggers, rocks the hips, with just enough of the blues thrown in to keep it interesting. The video features a woman to let you know who drives his desire.
YOU SANG TO ME is also very good.
But you must bring in Gloria Estefan and The Miami Sound Machine as they bring you the infectious, RHYTHM IS GONNA GET YOU and BAD BOY. And the great vocals of Jon Secada as he follow his passion in JUST ANOTHER DAY. He definitely brings his beautiful vocal to one of them best pop performances ever.
thanks for reminding me of my fav song by him....."Need to Know".....love that one also !!!
@@cindyshawver9986 You're welcome.
You REALLY need to include Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine!!! "Conga" or "The Rhythm is Gonna Get Ya" English words, Latin music
"Oye" is a terrific song, sung in Spanish.
I second these recommendations!!!!
I go nuts when I hear Mi Tierra. I wore that album tape out. ( yes. I said tape, cuz I'm old enough to know about that. 😉) Had to go get the CD after.
Got my vote!
Definitely got my vote as well.
For contemporary tunes, try Enrique Iglesias "Bailando (Dancing)", "Subeme la Radio" (Turn up the radio). The #1 song on CZcams is Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee's original "Despacito" with 7.5 Billion views. Despacito's video shows typical Caribbean street scenes, great dancing, & was filmed in Puerto Rico.
I'd also add to that list Marc Anthony and Daddy Yankee "De Vuelta Pa' La Vuelta" - you get the whole package: great singing, awesome instruments and the dancing, OMG!
I used to think of Marc Anthony as a regular American singer and then the Latin Explosion happened and I guess he went all-in on embracing his roots, primarily singing in Spanish from then on. I first heard of him years before when he starred on Broadway in a musical written by Paul Simon. He's a good actor. He also gets married a lot. My favorite song of his is probably "That's Okay" but he's got a lot of great ones. His cover of "Aguanile" is pretty fierce.
Actually he was the top salsa musician in the world as of the early 90s. He was very successful as a Latin artist and then crossed over to English when Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias crossed over. The English album with "I Need to Know" was his fourth. And yes, he does get married a lot. :D
Marc Anthony was the king of salsa way before he released an English album. He actually did an interview once where he said he had so many loyal fans he would not insult them and his title by doing a crossover album. And.....than he crossed over.
@@micheleromero6538 I had no idea singing in English was insulting. lol What was his first language then? I thought he was from NYC.
@@antoinettelopes He started his career singing salsa in Spanish. The Latin community loved him so much he gained the title of King of Salsa. He said he would not be a sell out and do a crossover album, he would remain loyal to the fan base that held him up as to not insult them by leaving them behind. It's what he said in an interview years ago before anyone outside the Latin community knew who he was. Than when other Latin artists like Ricky Martian and Enrique Iglesias started hitting the top of the charts here in the U.S. he did a crossover album. And if you didn't know he also did some acting in some big movies before that crossover album.
@@micheleromero6538 Yes, I'd seen him in movies before. That's why I thought he was just an American kid like J.Lo. And Ricky Martin I'd known since Menudo and watched on "General Hospital". So when they marketed them under that Latin Explosion thing as if they were new imports I was like 'but I know them.' Enrique was the only new one and he was Julio's kid anyway. I thought he grew up here too.
Conga's. Tom Toms are similar. Bongos are small, attached together and held between your knees.
"I Need To Know" is a FABULOUS song by Marc Anthony. You'll both love it.
Nice, ❤️ Marc Anthony. I’m glad to hear your plans to travel to other cultures with you children. Nothing teaches tolerance more than sharing a meal with another family in another land. You’re children will be richer for the experience...plus it’s just plain FUN, too!!
I can’t like this comment enough.
Try Juan Gabriel !!!! One of the greatest performers besides to be a great singer, the most prolific and gifted composer and a producer of records and his own shows. “Hasta que te conocí” at Bellas Artes 1990 will blow your mind.
He begins talking "They ask me what is my legacy, the searching can be complicated but in reality it must be simple. I am a father, I am a son, I am a brother and I am a friend. I am my music and your smile. I am New York's and Puerto Rico's streets. I try to touch the lives of my people's lives the same way they have touch mine. I live to somehow leave my mark. I just live." Then he begins singing 'I'm going to laugh, I'm going to enjoy, to live, to live, la, la, la". You are right when you said the wants to make people happy. The he keeps singing more beautiful things. A great singer. I am an American whose mother in law is half Irish and half Puerto Rican. With her I learned to enjoy Latin music. Thank you for your reaction.
Two songs sung in German that became hits in the 80’s are 99 Luftballoons by Nena, and Rock Me Amadeus by Falco. The song by Nena also had a version in English, 99 Red Balloons. Both versions were popular in the US. Falco also wrote the song Der Kommissar which English band After the Fire had a hit with after translating it to English. Also the Latin rock band Mana had a song with Santana called Corizon Espinado which I think you would love.
I love how you guys are so open to a wide variety of musical genres! You make it fun! :)
Here's what I understood him saying while speaking in the beginning...
"They ask me, what is your legacy? The search could be complicated, but in reality it should be simple. I am a father, a son, I'm a brother, and I'm a friend. I am music, and your smile. I am the streets of New York and Puerto Rico. I try to touch the lives of my people, in the same way they've touched mine. I live for... whatever way leaves my mark. I simply live."
This is my own translation so apologies if I got anything wrong.
Pretty darn close.
I can put on Marc Anthony and clean my whole house while I dance. Love this and love your excitement!
Salsa and Latin music are filled with complex percussion rhythms. Horns as well, with trumpet as the prominent voice.
Here are some more Latin music and artists you should listen to:
Ricky Martin - "Maria", "La Copa La Vida", "La Bomba", "Lola, Lola", "Por Arriba, Por Abajo"
Marc Anthony - "Si Te Vas", "Preciosa"
Selena Y Los Dinos - "Como La Flor", "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom", "La Carcacha", "Amor Prohibito"
Celia Cruz - "Guantanamera"
Ruben Blades - "Patria"
Shakira - "Ojos Asi"
And from 1957 or so, Richie Valens, La Bamba. Valens died in the same plane crash that killed Buddy Holly and the Big Bopper. And was part of the line in American Pie about that. THOUGH Valens' version is more in line with US rock n roll than pure Latin music, but it is an old Latin folk song.
What about Selena heartbreaking story
His VOICE!
Great list
👍🏻🔥
Try Los Lobos' "La Bamba" It is sung in Spanish and in their version includes traditional Mexican instruments.
Love Los Lobos!
Have they reacted to Ritchie Valens, "La Bamba" yet? :)
Puer Ricans are US Citizen by Birth the Island of 🇵🇷 Puerto Rico is a territory of the 🇺🇸 USA.
So I saw him live just two years back and let me tell you it don’t matter that he ages..the man still gets down!!! 🎉💯❤️😄 he’s probably the most listened to Latino artist for real 👌🏼
The tall drums are probably conga drums. Bongos, I think, are smaller and held between one's thighs often.
Guys I love that u enjoyed this song. He sings in English also the best among them I need to know. great song!
I love, Qué precios tiene el cielo. I don't speak Spanish but I just love Marc Anthony. The man is amazing 💜💜
Jordon and Ambers philosophy .I'm going to laugh, I'm going to live, I'm going to dance.
Marc Anthony has one of the best voices in music! 🥰
Great to see you following through on your promise to do more Spanish songs! Mark Anthony is, of course, an icon in Latin music. If you want to delve further, some of his bigger hits include "Y Hubo Alguien", "Cambio de Piel", and "Ahora Quien". For his English songs, "I Need to Know" and "You Sang to Me" were also huge. "Vivir Mi Vida", directly translated, is "Live My Life".
Another vote for “Ahora Quien” and You Sang To Me but in Spanish “Muy Dentro De Mi”
x3 on “Ahora quien”
Marc Anthony is a New Yorker but became famous as a Latin salsa singer for many years. About 20 years ago Latin music became popular in the U.S. and many Latin singers crossed over to recording in English as well as Spanish. You should listen to his top hit in English, "I Need to Know", the arrangement is killer. Marc Anthony is also an actor - he was in a great movie in the 90s, Big Night, and in Man On Fire in the early 2000s with Denzel.
Then watch Ricky Martin's performance at the 1999 Grammys of "La Copa de la Vida" ("The Cup of Life"). A true star turn. Then listen to "Livin' la Vida Loca"
I love this Marc Anthony video. It’s great seeing people from all different backgrounds in NY celebrating life.
Mark Anthony is so good!
"I need to know" is my favorite
That is raw Salsa!!! No way you can just not move your shoulders if you listen to it.
Those are Conga drums and if you love this then you need to check out some Carlos Santana
Absolutely!!!
"Soul Sacrifice" at Woodstock is a killer Latin/Rock performance. Check it out.
@@JoseGonzalez-ez6vn Or Samba Pa Ti. I love teaching that to my guitar students, such a beautiful piece of music
@@CarolinaSkyAstronomy
Yeah, I love it!!!
But, did they perform that one at Woodstock? I don't know if they did.
YES!!!!!!! There is a video with English subtitles. the video was filmed in Spanish Harlem NYC where he was raised. He has never forgotten where he came from. Growing up he would go with his dad and sing in local after hours clubs and bodegas. The little skinny kid with the big voice made it!
"Are those drums still called bongos?" No, bongos are small enough to fit in your lap. The ones that stand up like that are called congas.
Next Stops, Edicion en Espanol
Buena Vista Social Club, "Chan Chan"
Gipsy Kings, "Hotel California"
Ritchie Valens, "La Bamba" (original 1958 version)
Congas!!!
The Gypsy Kings have many great songs... Bem Bem Maria, Djobi Djoba, Baila Me, Bamboleo, etc. Love them!
La Bamba, by Ricky Valance should have been the first on their list…
For Amber you need to react Herb Albert and the Tijuana Brass. It is Latin and has Horns. Maybe the “Lonley Bull”.
Also kinda Latin Elvis Presley “The Bullfighter and the Lady”
Rise by Herb Albert and his band is phenomenal.
A few suggestions for your next Latin-style video: Celia Cruz "La Vida Es Un Carnaval" 🎶Ricky Martin "Livin La Vida Loca" 🎶 Enrique Iglesias "Bailando" and/or "Bailamos" 🎶 Marc Anthony "I Need To Know" 🎼
As a Puertorrican myself, I love Marc Anthony. If you want a very latin and fun song check out La Gozadera with Marc Anthony and Gente de Zona from Cuba. Regarding the percussion instruments, the long drums that are played with the hands are called Congas. The other shorter drums on a stand with the cowbell played with sticks are called Timbales. The cowbell is called Clave which means Key, because it is the key to keeping the tempo of the song!
Thank you AFRICA for bringing this world the beautiful drum beats you hear throughout our beautiful music and ty PUERTO RICO for perfecting it like no one has ever and bringing this world such beautifful master pieces TE AMO PUERTO RICO A TRUE PUERTO RICAN VIVA LA SALSA.
Love him. I don't speak Spanish but his voice is just so smooth. He also sometimes acts and he is pretty good.
For more Selena (Y Los Dinos) you should do “No Me Queda Mas” it really showcases her voice. I think you’ll appreciate the accompaniment of the symphony in the song.
Agreed. I think thats her best song
Esa no porque lloro 😭
Good song! Mark Anthony- I need to Know is a great song too. And if you are going down the Latin inspired rabbit hole, you need to do Enrique Igesias. Best songs are Bailamos, Escape, Rhythm Divine, Hero, Just want to be with You and many more. Such a great mix of English and Spanish that makes you get up and dance!
Yesyes, excellent suggestions!
Love me some Latin music! I have a Puerto Rician cousin who has added a lovely Latin spice to my maternal Scottish family. I have some favorite Latin videos to share with you two.
He has done many other great songs in English as well. His music was really big during my high school days and even this song was one of my favorites.
You gotta try Ricky Martin ‘living the Vida Loca’ or the duet Ricky does with Christina Aguilera ‘nobody wants to be lonely’
His biggest English song I NEED TO KNOW is the one you’ll love. You guys are awesome.
Love that y'all are listening to Marc Anthony! Fabulous voice?
Great review, you may consider Freddie Fender- last tear drop falls, wasted days and wasted night. The Texas Tornadoes- hey baby que Paso. I love Flaco Jimenez and his accordion. The Los Lonely Boys- Heaven or Senorita are great as well. Oh yeah, Julio Iglesias- cant help falling in love or when you tell me that you love me. Yall are great, enjoy your positive attitude and energy.
Some of Tejanos best 🤠👍
Flaco's accordion style is instantly recognizable!
You guys might want to try "Living la vida loca" by Ricky Martin. Theres an English version & Spanish version, obviously the English version was a HUGE hit for Ricky in 1999, in England at least. 💃🕺🎤l🇪🇦🇬🇧🇺🇸🎶🎷🎸
Or the duet he does with Christina Aguilera, Nobody Wants To Be Lonely...
Marc Anthony is a international treasure .
Great Review ...
Eventhough I knew who he was and knew he was a big deal, this was new to me and I LOVE it. So thank you for exploring it!
I have a whole playlist of Latin music on my channel if you want to explore the genre further 💕
I just spent the last two and a half years traveling Mexico. The culture, music, food and especially the people will hug your soul. I’m so glad you have an interest in Latin music!
Mar Anthony is Puerto Rican
@@aliciasaracino1233 either way it latin music
Agree, lived in Mexico for 2 years and any reason to get together for music and dancing is part of the culture. Puerto Rico and all the Latin countries do it. So much fun
You should check out Ritchie Valens who died in a plane crash along with the Big Bopper and Buddy Holly the first white person to ever play at the Apollo Theater
try Richie's "La Bamba"
You guys mentioned that you would like to see other countries/cultures. I would recommend any of the Mediterranean countries. Obviously each one is distinct BUT they all have hundreds of years behind their cultures. I lived in Spain for 7yrs and fell in love with their Flamenco music. There are many examples on CZcams & here is one I belive is a good representation "Flamenco Baile, guitarra & cante, Ramon Kailani".
Just my opinion but the artistry of this style is mind blowing.
Love Marc Anthony!! You will love Ricky Martin's "La Vida Loca"!!💙🎵💙🎶 Also, Gloria Estefan is so good, try "Get On Your Feet", "Conga", and "Rhythm Is Gonna Get You"🎶🎵
Seen him 2 times in concert, first one was limited attendance. We were 8 feet from stage. One of the BEST concerts I have ever been to. And I don't speak Spanish either.
It’s so amazing that you got Mark Anthony as a recommendation . I was thinking the same thing . He has such a catalog . He sings songs both in English and Spanish. . There is another artist that sings only in Spanish . He is Luis Miguel. He and Mariah Carey were a thing . He’s amazing as well . He went clear back to a Latin boy band and he’s got an awesome voice
Great reaction I loved it 💗💗💗💗💗 thanks for introducing Latin vibes to your CHANNEL mark Anthony is one of the best artists "la gozadera" is another great song 👍👍 Enrique iglesias "bailando " Ricky Martin "vente pa ca " they are very epic songs very rhythmic ones they will make you want to dance blessings 🥰🥰🥰🥰💗💗💗💗
Wonderful reaction by you guys to the incredible Marc Anthony🙏🏽✌🏽❤️
You have to do Lambada by Kaoma. It's known as the "Forbidden Dance." You'll definitely want to dance.
That was catchy…I still recommend Luis Miguel “La Incondicional”
Welcome to the Latin Music "rabbit hole" (Like Alice in Wonderland)
Regards from Chile! :-)
OH MAN, this takes me back to 1998 - 2004 when I lived in South Florida. The music, the food and art of the Caribbean islands, South America, Cuba, Puerto Rico, the beach and more all within a short drive. 😋😋🤩🤩 I miss it... 🙁 🤘Rock On!🤘
I love latin beats...Thank you for playing this....Even though Im a Maori from New Zealand....OMG his voice....Love you guys heaps...xxxBlessings
I have a whole playlist of Latin music on my channel if you want to explore the genre further 💕
If you're going down a Latin track, you should definitely check out Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine for songs like "Conga" and "The Rhythm Is Gonna Get You" which are both classic '80's greats in their own right.
No one epitomizes the Latin genre better than Gloria Estefan. They really need to feature her
Great idea for a female Friday!
I love Marc Anthony! This song especially because when I feel that life has beat me down I bump this song and then I remember that I must live life to the fullest. You have one life and you must live it like it’s your last. My family lives this way everyday and I admire them for that! My family is from El Salvador from my mom side and my father is African American, so I always said I have both sides of beautiful music and rhythm!
When I was growing up in Puerto Rico salsa was our grandparent's music. Marc Anthony got me back into listening to not just "new school" salsa but to go back and appreciate the old school music that is so often timeless but wasn't always appreciated by my generation at the time.
I bought his first English CD in 1999. Still own it, still listen to it. "I need to know" and "You sang to me" are my favorites. The lyrics to his song "Love is all" are so beautiful and it really shows the range and power of his voice. I really think you would enjoy a song called "How far is heaven" by Los Lonely Boys. They are three brothers that harmonize beautifully.
He actually had an English album back in the late 80s....
So glad you’re trying some Latin hits. I KNOW you would enjoy Ricky Martin! He was HUGE in the 90’s.
Try “Maria” and “La Copa de La Vida”. If you can find the ones for the Grammys, those are live!
And for some awesome Latin rock, check out Ricky's former Menudo bandmate, Draco Rosa.
Oh yes Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias (last name probably spelled wrong)
Love Latin music!
“Tal Vez” “Te Extraño, Te Olvido, Te Amo” “Vuelve”
Marc Anthony was born in the Bronx, NY of Puerto Rican parents. He is the ultimate in Salsa. He has been in the music scene for over 2 decades. He began his career in the late '80s singing in Spanish, mostly Salsa. He did his cross-over to english in the late '90s with "I Need to Know". He is a singer-Songwriter, record producer, and actor. He has done duets with Daddy Yankee, Romeo Santos, Pit Bull, Will Smith, Prince Royce, La Quinta estacion (Natalia Jimenez), and Gente de Zona. He is the top Tropical selling artist of all time and has won many Grammy and Latin Grammy awards. He played hector Lavoe ( another Salsa great) in the movie "El cantante" with Jennifer Lopez. He acted on broadway and did movies. Other songs you might like from him: Hasta ayer, Flor Palida, Hasta que te Conoci, Ahora Quien, Te conozco bien, Aguanile, Tu Amor me Hace Bien, and Valio la Pena. There are many others, of course. Another English song you might like is "You sang to Me". Other artist you might like to listen to are Romeo Santos, Daddy Yankee, Ricky Martin, Chayanne, Prince Royce. A good female artist for female Fridays is "La India" or India. you will love her. Fun fact: Marc anthony was married to Miss Universe Dayanara Torres (of Puerto Rico) and has two boys with her.
Enrique Inglesis - Bailiendo! Like 5 billion views....Best dance song!
Celia Cruz and Tito Puente were so amazing!
You can't go wrong with Gloria Estefan (Miami Sound Machine) "Conga", all in English but perfect Latin music, or "Rhythm is gonna get you" or if you want in Spanish "Mi Tierra" or "Oye"......Gloria Estefan is great for Latin music, Disco, ballads, pop, 80's music.....everything mixed.....
Any dive down latin music, would have to include Celia Cruz, I believe one could say, she is to Latin Music, what Aretha Franklin is to soul, any latin friend I have ever had talk about her as I would talk about someone like Cher or Barbra Streisand. Marc Anthony has a beautiful masterpiece in English called YOU SANG TO ME. If you want to do a latin "Boy Band" you would have to check out MENUDO, they were huge in most of Latin America from the 70s on. The biggest star by far from that band to emerge was Ricky Martin, who has tons of songs in spanish and English, he sings THE CUP OF LIFE in both english and spanish with lots of horns. Another latin singer that I like is JUANES and he has a beautiful song called FOTOGRAFIA
Yes to Celia Cruz!
Since Friday is for the ladies she definitely has to do some Celia Cruz
Guys learning to dance this kind of music will give you such a high..
🇵🇷Que Viva Puerto Rico. For such a small island I can't tell you how much pride we have in our music and culture. If your doing Marc Anthony you have to react to. "Y Hubo Algien and Tu Amor Me Ace Bien" two of his best Salsa songs ever.
Great song and reaction! Check out Selena, "Como la Flor" live in Texas. Another great performance from her.
Yes! “Como La Flor” is one of their greatest hits and definitely showcases that Tajano sound IMO.
Yes its my favorite selena song
Great way to explore Latino artists is through Playing for Change. Entire Latino series with proceeds going to help find the thousands of people who are considered missing from Latin America. Great music and great cause. A good start would be PLAYING FOR CHANGE "LA BAMBA" song around the world, or "PATA PATA" live. Both are great fun and full of energy.
This was recorded in his hometown of Spanish Harlem, New York City. He has an incredible voice and has done some English songs as well.
My Baby You by Marc Anthony. Grab the tissues!
Being a Puerto Rican Italian woman my heritage always makes me proud and I’m so happy that the music in my life has made impact…❤❤❤🎉 everyone get to dance now matter your race religion or creed let the music move you baby 😇😇😇😇😉😘❤️
Loved watching this video and watching you guys enjoy the song made me smile so much. Latino music has so much to offer. If you want some other great latin songs to dance or sing along to, there is: "La Vida es un Carnaval" and "Oye Como Va" by Celia Cruz, "La Copa de la Vida" by Ricky Martin, "Waka Waka" (Spanish Version) and "Ojos Asi" by Shakira, "Bailando" by Enrique Iglesias, "Todos Me Miran" by Gloria Trevi, "La Camisa Negra" and "A Dios Le Pido" by Juanes.
Definitely seconding the suggestion for Enrique Iglesias "Bailando" and you can't go wrong with "La Bamba" is an old classic for a reason! Gloria Estefan would also be a good one for Female Friday.
Edit: Can't believe I forgot to mention Ricky Martin!
If you want to get in the spirit of Dia de los Muertos in a way you can share with the little ones, I'd also suggest watching "Book of Life", an animated movie by Jorge Gutierrez, and also "Coco" by Pixar.
The tall drums are congas. They're bigger than bongos and have a lower, warmer sound. Plus, they are just so fun when they are played by someone who knows how!
Gente de zona ft Mark Anthony "la gozadera " is a song dedicated to all the Latin America countries United in one song soooo good very recommend it's like our anthem is a street party 💗💗💗💗
David Bisbel is also a very great latin musician, do some of his songs: Silencio, Ave Maria, Buleria..
You should listen to Juanes. He is from Columbia. A Dios La Pida is an amazing song. Try the official video if you can.
Love his music!
@@leesakw My late wife and I saw him in concert in Boston several years ago. She was from Puerto Rico which is where I got my love for Latin Music. We saw many Spanish artists together.
My Cuban heart is swelling. So glad you enjoyed it. I wish you understood the lyrics because it is everything you guys talk about...positivity, love, laughing, enjoying life.
You guys must be the happiest couple I've seen seen react to all these different genres. You both are so lucky to have each other. You bring happiness to me just seeing your positive happy vibe. Your reaction was so sweet .
FEMALE FRIDAY LATIN EDITION-
Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine.
CONGA
Latin music and song has much more passion than does the Western music and vocals were are used to hearing in the United States. Probably something to do with the difference in the languages; that may be part of it. (Jay, you have got to pay closer attention when Amber begins to speak and stop cutting her off. Work on it!)
I and several others have complained about his habit to interrupt Amber... but it hasn't fazed him he still does it
You have to hear mark Anthony and Pitbull, the song is rain over me, amazing
