That's actually really up for debate. I mean, there's really no questioning that a person with a rather esoteric knowledge of Hellenistic cultures, dialect, and philosophy would be an intensely more relevant person than say a bricklayer, were society to crumble, but calling it a free society would only be under the social norms of their particular culture. It's actually a pretty interesting and layered argument, but when you apply our modern day values to the concept of a free society, Greece and Rome certainly laid the foundation, but I don't think it was really perfected post BC. Especially if you consider that whole kerfuffle with organized religion, which had its own stranglehold on these organized society outside the "free" governments being built around this time.
I'm not trying to face you out or anything, but I mean accusing someone of being on crack and then offering a one line rebuttal for what's ultimately a philosophical argument is a bit silly. Greece wasn't what we'd consider a free society by any standards today, especially if you were a woman. We're still working on the whole 'land of the free' concept, to be honest. It's just a bit of propaganda. This is coming from someone most assuredly not on crack, if that's any sort of endorsement.
In that time, in that moment, in those minutes we really saw the power of music🎶🎶 and humanity. There was no worry, no problems...just strangers singing not as close friends, not as strangers, but as people. And sometimes that's just what the world needs. We see in this video even a train full of people can brighten up your day. Take this message, and take it to heart❤❤.

I'm sorry, but all the "distractions" that bus drivers have to deal with and MUSIC is the problematic one? You get people on drugs, people boffing in the back of the bus, people chatting loudly, people listening to their OWN music loudly, screaming children, and much worse. I don't know about other people, but if I had to deal with that on the daily I'd be very happy to hear something as pleasant as people joyfully singing Bob Marley. Get some perspective. I highly doubt he would have gotten in trouble for letting some dude play a guitar.

I use to be a city bus driver and i made it mandatory for anyone who brought an instrument on the bus, they had to play it. You couldn’t imagine the joy it brought people!
