A section of the Nairobi-Kisumu railway line has been left in limbo after a landslide swept earth under the tracks in Thogoto Kikuyu constituency, Kiambu County, following heavy rains on Wednesday.
Residents living downstream were also affected as their homes and farms were buried by the flowing mud.
Railway officials were on the scene on Thursday trying to mitigate the situation and restore services.
We must thank God for the rains as it has opened a Pandora box
😅😅
Incompetence is apparent to all.....
This reminds me of Ngai ndeithia accident where i lost a relative
Wooooi my village . May God intervene.
124 years old railway built by Mzungu. And we cannot at least maintain it.
Who designed that railway, no support system, looks like it was just fitted into the ground
This line reached the lake Victoria shores in 1900. There was no erosion. The grounds were intact
@@georgeopiombai8350 So basically 124 years without no maintenance. We are a joke
Did you do history muriithi or what😂
@@Gorgeousij Yes I did why?

😃because if you took history seriously, you could not have asked who designed the railway line.
