DougE had so so many great blocks thru the season. He’s the player that I’m so excited to see going forward and hope he’s able to get more passes thrown to him.
Definitely agree about the ISU game being essentially a neutral site game. Arrowhead should be lit which should be pretty lit which should be fun regardless.
Definitely agree that Ames is more Manhattan and yes near the bottom of the barrel. It would be interesting to rank the cities, and a chunk of the ranking would be city vs town perspective.
#22 is nice, but also 5th in the conference and essentially where we finished last year so really no progress. Listening to Grimes reminds me a bit of the QB battles from a decade ago. The coaches know what it takes to compete in D1, or compete for a championship. Questionable whether announcing a starter or whatever else if you aren’t at the target level.

Part of the stat challenge for KU is the number of plays they run. The yards per play are great but there just aren’t as many plays as other teams.

Didn’t Maiava transfer? I’m pretty sure he’s at USC this year.
It seemed at the bowl game that unlv was just selling out to stop the run, which was just leaving the WR so open.
As someone watching from a bar, part of the penalty frustration was just not knowing what the penalties were because of the really poor coverage.
