I like Roger Waters a lot, but wish we had more younger outspoken musicians and artists with positive political messages that received media attention.
There are no younger musicians. Successful Young people are nothing but corporate puppets. RW comes from a time before record industry dominion. That's why there are no younger musicians speaking, anyone who would never had a chance

There should have a 2 state solution in the first place. What kind of life is it when the better homes in your neighborhood have a bomb shelter in the basement? When I heard about a grandmother who had to spend the entire night in her bomb shelter and was complaining about it, I thought, hang on, at least she had a safe place to go. On the off chance f she got injured, her ambulance most likely wouldn't have blown up, and the hospital she would have gone to would have had electricity and the proper drugs to take care of her, not to mention a bed.
Roger has sound opinions on this matter because he knows the history. If only other commentators were similarly well informed.
I hope you can interview Tulsi Gabbard. I really want to see how you approach the Palestinian and Israel situation with her.

My first tattoo was the prism from the dark side of the moon. I remember taking the vinyl record into a tattoo parlor the day I turned 18 in 2004. I think the lyrics of that album and others really awakened and shaped my worldview during a time when there really wasn't any independent media.

It was interesting to see Roger Waters in Washington D.C. a couple years ago where much of the audience is tied to the military industrial complex Waters is so passionately against. There were few people in my section who clapped in support for what he was saying. Also interesting as well paying an exorbitant price for tickets and t-shirts to support the capitalist economy Waters is also passionately against. Whether you agree or disagree with Waters, his music and rhetoric forces us to think. Thanks for the interview, Glen.
You clearly don't know his work that well. He has never promoted a hard-line pure anti-capitalist position. He is anti-authoritarian, anti corporate greed, anti public oppression, anti cronyism. That doesn't make him anti capitalist. Idiots today are incapable of distinguishing between a fair system where people have the freedom to create their own enterprises and fascist oppression. My very first thought when I heard about the October 7th 2023 was a specific exact act like NAT TURNER REBELLION
Norman Finkelstein made the very same connection and talked about it on the Jimmy Dore Show with Craig Pasta.
It needs saying that subsequent to this interview it came out that many if not most of the Oct 7 victims were killed by the IDF---especially those at the outdoor concert. And the kibbutz casualties were armed and part of the "enforcement" arm that surrounds Gaza. The entire business of so-called rapes was so absurd it defied common sense in that it was a snatch and run operation to gain hostages and get them back across the border in order to exchange the unjustly imprisoned Palestinians, including hundreds of children.
