Absolutely love sabaton, it's war metal that actually recounts real battles, but doesn't really glorify war. They do this by making songs both good and bad about war, showing both sides of it.
The UK on paper was not that much stronger than Argentina but in reality, it was significantly stronger and there was only ever going to be one outcome. What made it courageous was the fact that it was a power projection war. It wasn't like say, all of Russia's wars where they fight on their borders and can just retreat if they needed to. For those Brits, it was a 6000 mile journey into the unknown and they were fighting on their own. It was do or die once they landed. There was no opportunity for retreat on the other side of the planet.

In a prolonged engagement, certainly. But the fleet also had orders that if they lost even one of the carriers, which the Argentinians were capable of taking out with their missiles, that they were to abort.
I agree, and I'm argentinian, we had no opportunity, it was an desperate move from the dictator of that time to won the respect of the country, he knew we couldn't win but did it anyways.
