It's pretty hard to predict the future. Maybe SquareEnix will start to put more resources into distribution, marketing, tournaments and the art, and it will start to grow. Maybe the game will suffer a slow burn-off death. I don't know for sure. I've collected every booster box, and I don't do it for expected value. I do it because they feel nice to display and I think they're great collectors items. Even if it dies, it's cool to look back at, and can be a sort of piece of history. Anyways it's up to you :D
Honestly didn't think they'd make it this far competing with other card games. Still iffy on the stock art.
The game is healthy and there is more and more original artwork each set. Life's good!
