Wasn't one of the things about chaotic systems that they are notoriously hard to predict? also.. if it's coming, when it comes.. Won't we just adapt? And if not.. The weatherman being wrong does not affect the credibility of climate science. A weatherman is no more a climate scientist than a gardener is a geologist.
Just to clarify, I'm not saying it wasn't funny. I love Alonzo and I chuckled at that line. I just thought it was important to clarify this point for anyone who might hear the joke and think: 'Hey yeah! Why should I worry about climate change if the weatherman is wrong?' Some people just look for any excuse to dismiss the whole issue.
