I’ve been following The Menzingers since day one in Scranton. They’ve always been that band that everyone wants to play with, tour with or just goof the fuck off with. They’re all solid dudes, and amazing song writers. Do yourself a favor and start from the beginning. Yeah, it’s a little more gruff and heavy but you’ll find yourself some gems that you’ll really enjoy from the early days, I promise.
Personal favorites of mine are Lilith Avi, Chamberlain Waits, I Can’t Seem To Tell, Transient Love, The Bars, The Freaks, Cemetery’s Garden, Bad Actors and Take It To Heart.
I swear there's something in the water in Pennsylvania that churns out amazing bands like the Wonder Years, Modern Baseball and the Menzingers. There's so many more I've loved growing up from Anti-Flag, the Loved Ones, Aus Rotten, Kid Dynamite! The list goes on and on but those first 3 touch a nerve and stay there. Amazing album yet again.
Whether you dig these other two it's hard to dispute they have had great success. Motionless in White (Scranton) and Breaking Benjamin (Wilkes-Barre) are local to me and it's an incredible thing when they play live here. There's something about the energy of the crowd and their love for the area.
@@Acroanidd they definitely found their niche in the scene even though they're not really my style. But your can't deny their success. Also if I'd put the whole list of Pennsylvania bands it'd get a little long winded. Although an honorable mention just for their pure idiocy is Bloodhound Gang.

I saw these guys two weeks on a whim owning only one album…it was one of the best concerts I’ve ever attended. It was so refreshing to see a band and an audience having so much fun. Thanks Menzingers. I’ll be back and I’m buying all your other albums.

i Found menzingers during covid and I fell in love with them. I’ve seen them live before and I would honestly say that Hello Exile is one of my personal favorite records of all time, just from how much i listened to it back then. but i personally am not a fan of there newer singles that have been dropping recently. I’m glad people are liking it but I’m getting a little worried. Hope the next album is good thou 👍

Ah what a relief. The first single was a miss but this one is a huge hit. I’m glad these guys proved me wrong with the producer change. They can still churn out good songs.

I love Bad Religion but this sounds like the furthest thing from Bad Religion, to me. It makes me think about what it would sound like if Bruce Springsteen wrote songs for Stiff Little Fingers.

I adore this band, but not huge on the recording mix.
I’ll reserve judgement for the rest of the album but this definitely isn’t giving me a lot of hope, no pun intended. Has nothing on “Hello Exile” in my opinion…
These dudes are one of my favorite bands, but these first couple singles haven't done much for me. The mix is really weird in this one. Guitars are way too low and the drum is up pretty high in the mix. Maybe they'll grow on me, but I don't know how I'll feel about this one.

Another miss. The first 30 seconds is good then it devolves into forced sing alongs that are repetitive and boring. Little replay value imo. Also don't like the mix. The guitars are faint and the kick drum is loud as hell and goofy sounding
