I took care of my grandmother during the years after she was diagnosed with dementia. She declined from 2010-2018 when she passed. We moved his parents to live in a cottage we had at our home, it was very difficult because it got to the stage that was not able to do anything for himself and my husband was an only child and it was impossible for us to leave her with such a very difficult situation.
