    She really took you to the cleaners on that mop & bucket but I guess you’ll do a video on how to bargain another time. ( lived in PP for 7 years)

      I make the conscious choice not to bargain overmuch. A few dollars extra for a mop means nothing to me, but it means a lot to these people.

    Also if you're an American and thinking about moving to Asia, get the Charles Schwab debit card before leaving. The CS card credits back all of your ATM fees at the end of the month so basically you don't pay those high fees when using an ATM.

    So did you use a US Debit/Credit Cars or a local Cambodian Debit/Credit card? Also what atm fees are charged for using a US Card? In Thailand, the ATMs will charge 220 baht per transaction

    • @SecondLifeTravels1
      @SecondLifeTravels1  Před 2 lety +1

      I have an ABA card linked to a local bank account, so I just use that. I have used other international cards, however, and they have all worked. I do not recall the fee.

    Purchasing by ABA QR code is always in dollars?

    maybe a strange question but do shops still take $1's and 5's USD? I read somewhere they do not which is hard to believe but I'm returning to PP in September and it would be extremely helpful to know whether there is any truth in it. Many thanks!..enjoy your videos :)

    It’s a crying shame the people can get more in Cambodia than I can here in the Philippines.
