Flying My Bicycle in a Custom Made Cardboard Bike Box

I have a very specialized touring bicycle known as the Co-Motion Cycles Siskiyou touring bike, which is equipped with a set of S&S couplers, which allows me to split the bicycle in half and fold the bike down into an airline friendly travel case.

Depending on the airline I am flying with, sometimes I can get away with easily packing my bicycle inside a standard cardboard bike box, which I can usually get for free from my local bike shop.

But other times I need to pack the bicycle down into a much smaller case in order to travel with my bike on an airplane or a train. And sometimes I don't have the official Co-Motion travel case with me. In which case, I need to create a small, compact travel case on the road using a larger cardboard box box.
In this video you will see how I take a standard cardboard bike box, like the kind you can get for free from almost any bike shop in the world, and then put that box down into a suitcase-sized container that can be used to transport your S&S coupled bicycle on trains, planes, boats, buses, etc.
