As someone whose dad only took away my passions and held me back my whole life, it brought a tear to my eye seeing how loving and caring your parents are. Especially your dad resigning from his job just to support you... that's a real father right there. Not many would give up their whole life just to help their son. That is such a beautiful thing...
Just in case you don't realize this, you're incredibly fortunate to have parents like that. Your dad built that room for you even though he wanted you to continue school. Not everyone gets such amazing and supportive parents, and it's a damn shame...

This is around the third, or fourth time I've watched your Stories from the Battle Bus documentary. I am having a very similar experience as you had in 2017. This documentary really inspires me to want to work and grind harder on my CZcams channel. The last section of this video where you were just talking about your life, and the arguing with your parents about wanting to do content creation full-time, is extremely similar to what I am going through. Trying to prove I can make it on CZcams is hard, genuinely. I often feel like I am not good enough, or that I will never get lucky enough to do this full-time. However, watching this video, and you explaining that you didn't just get lucky, makes me hopeful for what I can achieve in the coming year(s). I want you to know, Nick, that I genuinely appreciate your approach to content creation: family-friendly. Best wishes to you, your family, and your content creation career. I hope that I can achieve what you have achieved, even if that takes seven years like it did you. Thanks, again, Nick! God bless!
