I had the unfortunate experience of watching an indy 30-man rumble last night. I saw this video earlier in the day and then saw the event. Every time someone was clotheslined over the rope, I kept screaming in my head "put your arm down" or "hug the rope!" Probably 50% of the guys did it very close to this instruction. Others made me worry they were going to hit their heads on the canvas or worse! This made me really appreciate this video even more.

got my first rumble here in about a month. have watched this video over and over and my trainer says the exact same thing yall do. just gotta keep watching and get repetitions in.
Try starting with the 2nd rope to get the technique down then you can build your confidence to doing it over the top with ease.
