- From saganaki to the jibarito, Chicago's blend of cultures has resulted in a long and delicious list of culinary innovations. One particular Chicago food favorite started with an Assyrian family that folded together Italian and Mexican ingredients to create a hot dog stand staple.

Chicago Food = ❤
Just wait until you try a pizza puff jim shoe 🤣💯🔥🔥🔥🔥
I live in TX. When I go back home to Chicago.I get Portillos Italian Beef, case of Pizza Puffs.
There is also El Greg brand.
I've always loved these on the side with a hotdog. Unfortunately the price has soared on these at the fast food places by my house. I remember spending $1.50 many years ago. They are $5.00 by me now. I was done buying these when they went up to $4.00. I laughed when I saw the price at $5.00. Sometimes if they're on sale at Jewel I'll buy them but will nolonger get them at a fast food place. Just like Disney World They've priced themselves out of being affordable for the average income earner such as myself. Too bad but they're quite unhealthy to eat so it's probably for the best.
what the heck????? over here where I'm from in Illinois the local community grocery store fries them up and sells almost every flavor for 99 cents each puff ive never seen the price change ever

WOW!!!
That makes me wonder how much more we're paying for everything else. 99 cents is amazing!!!
Jewel had em for a buck years ago
Chicago classic ? Never even heard of them and I've lived in Chicago my whole life.
They're a staple of every bowling alley I've ever been to! Please, I beg you, go the the Jewel and pick up a 4-pack.
My favorite junk food. ❤️
Then your not a Chicagoan if you haven't heard or had one. Every hot dog stand that I've been to has them.
@@ctmajka they just started selling the 4th pack.
"Never heard of them". Then you must not be from Chicago. Cause I grew up eating pizza puff as part of my diet. They can also so found in stores and gas stations in the Chicago area now.
@@ctmajka don’t taste the same frozen from the stores
