I hand filed a 32" full house chain today. Got the gullet and got every toothlined up. Then hit the rakers with the gauge. It took me forever, but boy she cuts like a dream.

I spent some money and bought a helko werk and for the money I would expect it *deadly straight* but mine is angled. So a brand new, Expensive to me, axe needs to taken apart and rebuilt before I use it? The eye is pretty offset and I have two different bevels on the bit? Brand New ? I'm new to axe. Thank you for all the info. Watched you take down that tree with the crazy hinge moan this morning while I was making the family breakfast. Then I tuned up the boys big wheel.
