Duncan stayed in college for four years which allowed him to come into the league complete as a 1st team all-NBA caliber player. Mobley shows signs of Duncan it will just take him a couple seasons to reach it since he only stayed in college for one year.

@@Paul-km8ko barnes is a better perimeter defender by a slight margin, but there is no argument for him being a better overall defender. rim protectors will always be more valuable than point of attack defenders in terms of limiting the opponents total points. there are things that donât show up in the stat sheet that just make bigs so much more valuable defensively. elite rim protectors can prevent opposing players from driving to the rim just with their presence. over the course of 48+ minutes, this adds up lots of points saved defensively. this is not to say barnes is a bad defender, but the nature of mobleys position and role on defense make him so much more important on defense
