Great flight report. Turkish Airlines and Qatar Airways are two of my favourite. They provide such good service and its so easy to get in touch with someone in customer service to amend bookings.

So story time me and my family go from Thailand (where we live) to england to see our grandparents and we go every 2 years and it's been 4 years since I've seen them due to covid I'm finally going to be able to go to england this year and I'm flying in April 4 I'm so excited so I watch these review videos I'm so sad and excited at the same time I'm sad because all of these videos have this nostalgic feeling to them and so I miss flying due to that thank you for listening and thank you for this wonderful video

I am flying Qatar Airways to the Philippines in August from the US. First time flying international. Love the informative video. The window dimmer is really cool.

Thanks for the informative video. I have a question though, how would you compare a 787 flight to a Ryanair 737? it's about the feeling of breathing on board, feeling the lower pressure. I fly Ryanair and I had a problem with my blood pressure and some trouble with breathing.

Hallo Dominik. Ich schreibe mal auf Englisch für die anderen Zuschauer: Chicken curry looked very delicious. - The private dimming system would be ok as long as not the crew can decide when and for how long my window is dimmed or not. Most people see it as a great technical innovation but for me it is a setback in the individual decision of a passenger how he wants to use ‚his‘ window dim. ( In night e.g. it is not possible to have a quick look outside when overflying a city or looking for the coming sunrise…etc. because the cabin crew has full control over the system). Aber schön zu sehen wie du als junger Mensch das Fliegen genießt. Mir ging es genauso vor -zig Jahren, als ich meinen ersten langen Überseeflug (BA London-Antigua) mit einer Boeing 707 erlebte. Danach folgten beruflich unzählige weitere Flüge, ich habe das Zählen inzwischen eingestellt. Im Juni jetzt wieder mal nach Sri Lanka/Colombo mit Qatar Airways ab DUS mit einer 787-8. Habe absichtlich auf den Flug mit A380 verzichtet, zu viele Paxe um mich. Qatar Airways war übrigens mal super als ich beim Umsteigen in Doha nach Colombo unerwartet auf Business Class upgegraded wurde, beim Rückflug passierte dasselbe in Colombo, Business C. bis Doha. - Viel Spass noch mit der Fliegerei, bei mir ist es inzwischen nur noch ein vermeintliches Übel um schnell von A nach B zu kommen.

I avoid the 787 Qatar in economy. The seat width is narrow and feels cramped on long-haul.

I’ve flown on their 787 and it was awful. Nice that they have since updated the IFE but the actual seat looks the same. Hard and uncomfortable and legroom is horrendous. The cabin is noisy and whirring constantly and the announcements are very echoey and crew have control over the windows. A350 over this anytime.
That so bad to hear, I have always found the 787 awesome to fly, and I love how well you breathe there. Bye the way, I don't know why people don't understand or hear this, but the main reason for why airlines have the 787 at a 3-3-3 configuration is just as simple as this: More people and more money. The 787 was supposed to be 2-3-2 configuration with a larger cabin, unfortunately as you can see, airlines fail. The only one who do it right is Japan airlines who have the best 787, you should try.
@@sergiolaurencio7534 I will always do premium economy on the 787. It’s the best way to enjoy it. Shame that Qatar doesn’t have such offering hence why I mostly go with BA. Also QR claim their economy is “like premium economy” 🤦♂️😂
