I will definitely try the seaweed soup. I stir fry in my wok every week. My sister-in-law is chinese and taught me to cook in a wok when we were both young. Which seaweed is best for soup?

The best 👍 The ingredients for seaweed soup are in Korean [ *Miyeok* 미역]. You can probably only find it in Korean markets, not Asian markets!! It is dried black like the (kim김) used to wrap kimbap and (kelp 다시마 Dashima) for soup. The Miyeok-guk [ 미역국] uses dried Miyeok and is soaked in water for more than 30 minutes, then washed. If it is not cut, cut it into bite-size pieces and stir-fry it with beef and sesame oil like IU does~ㅋㅋ You can season the soup with soy sauce and a little coarse salt. If you get tuna liquid ( Chamchiaek 참치액 )or anchovy liquid,(Myeoldhiaekjeot 멸치액젓) the flavor of the soup will be deeper, but soy sauce is enough), *Miyeok* is easy to boil as a healthy food and is good for your body if you eat it lightly. I would have thought it was Italy. I always use garlic in my cooking...but in that dish I would have used 3 cloves. That looked like 6 or 8. I just checked, northern italy does not use much garlic so on balance they are not in the top 10 list. I love looking things up.
