Great reaction video, El Es is just a phenomenal drummer, master of his craft, i love seeing other musicians like yourself enjoying and respecting what he can do. Its not a competition, just an appreciation and enjoyment of another persons talent and i tend to find its musicians like you and many others in YT that get that the most!
And no, i cant play a single instrument unless airdrumming and fingers tapping any surface count!! Thanks for the video dude!!

Dude just inspires and that is all I want to do as well. Or just have a moment of appreciation with people cause it always better to watch music with other people. It's a social bonding experience and I love music and will always appreciate someone who has practiced hard for their talent. Trying to discipline myself into doing that lately cause I have always kind of lazy but the older I have gotten the more I realise life is short so just try make the best of it.

Anyway he aces everything percussion that comes his way.

I love this guy. You should check out the original version of him doing this. I prefer the solo in that one. You have a better view and better sound in this one, however, but that solo in the other one is just unbelievable

You are correct in being confused by the way he holds his sticks, he changes the grip fast.
Insanely fast. Thought I was going crazy at first 😅 you know why he does it?
@@ShaneAlanGower Try it, you kinda use a diferent group of muscles when using that technic. Gives speed and ive heard is good for cramps. He is not the only drummer i have seen with that grip. Just do the experiment, move your arm with the standar grip and then use that other grip, you will find out you switch to diferent muscle groups. The wrist moves in a diferent motion with each of them.
I actually tried this earlier. Felt like I had lots more control and yes I was using different muscles. The only thing is it kind of hurt my knuckle. I've seen lots of drummers in my life but I've never seen that before. Enjoy learning new things 🤘

Sometimes I stop sometimes I don't 2 of his reactions I did I hardly stopped. If you don't like it I'm sure there a million reactors out there that just do low effort content that you will enjoy.
