Cards look great, refractors look great, numbering location is awful, price is a non-starter. Looking forward to singles come this offseason!

@@elireyna9464 Couldn't agree more. Bloated checklist, bloated auto checklist, expanded parallels checklist, higher price point, all makes no sense to open as a personal. Singles for this release are 100% the way to go and they are going to be incredibly cheap as folks scramble to get back 10-20% of their buy in on average per box.

Chrome looks clean design wise this year! Inserts give me a 90s vibe. Wish the numbering would be in a different spot I liked when the numbering was on back.

Looks amazing in chrome
The 1989 inserts look lovely but I’m biased- I think that’s my #1 retro card design!!
Not totally sold on the other inserts. Would personally really like the blueprint design in chrome as an insert.
A ton of rookies which is great, but makes it seem harder to hit veterans, so the buyback will be harder than before I would say
This is the set I've been waiting for ever since people complained about the design. The cards look great in chrome and seem unique to any other year.

Way too many new inserts that won't hold any value. Takes away from actually getting cards worth anything. Expanded checklist, increased inserts, increased price...yikes
Or you could get cards to enjoy collecting and not worry about flipping and turning a profit. It is takes like yours that are ruining the hobby

2024 design looks good chromed up. QC seems pretty solid. The inserts especially the summertime in the park are cheesy. Definitely more directed toward kids which is fine. Historically the Topps Chrome inserts are like that.
They look nice. I think you should've gotten some Harper and Judge though for MVP buyback credits also. I'm just gonna try to find deals on buyback lots. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the content Stryker, I love the look of Chrome this year but the price is STEEP for how big the checklist is. Looking forward to watching some breaks at least.

Hello everyone, I am starting to collect some of football cards and baseball cards and basketball cards and Star Wars trading cards. I Love Shopping for anything trading cards.
What if it’s bent right out of the box? If u have proof is there anything you can do?
Overall, as a collector, I'd be happy with that box. BUT, when my wife was to ask, "Did we get $200 in cards out of that box?", I'd say....... "Yyyyyyeeeeeeeesssssssss??"

Jackson Holliday's RC looks far too similar to Gunnar Henderson's RC from a year prior. Show some originality Fanatics, you could have at least had Holliday swinging the bat.

Thanks for the first look. Have 3 blasters coming. Saving up for a jumbo box. Think I will skip the hobby, never had any luck with them.
only like 7min in.. but looks like the % of base rookies pulled is way too high compared to vets indicating RC's are double or triple printed. 117/300 cards in base set are RC's.
you should label the boxes 2-11, with 2 dice you'll never roll a 1.

I’m also an Os fan huge W but I got decent stuff out of topps chrome sorta but haven’t got a hobby box yet or a mega box just got the blaster boxes so far only got pink parallels and the all tech parallels and also a Mike trout summertime at the park and a numbered card Jung hoe lee

Definitely losing money at $200 plus a hobby box.I loved 2023 Chrome platinum because there was a lot of legends amongst rookies but I spent over $1000 in hobby and blasters and definitely lost money big time.
Cards look beautiful as expected. Biggest issue is that price point. Fanatics completely took advantage of the hobby on this one just because Elly is in this product, along with so many other great players. Also, this year’s inserts imo are the absolute worst inserts I have ever seen. I would be throwing the inserts out.
Are there still short prints like in series 2?
base cards are clean, agree with the bad numbering placement. inserts look pretty bland to be honest. I'd buy that horwitz card
