Its so annoying, reading those stories about the 122mm and 152mm and then in game it's just *vision port black, comrade*
@@marcoalesi8163 I remember reading a report from a Russian platoon leader during the invasion of Berlin. He said that a Panther had turned the corner ahead of them and began laying down some major fire to allow its supporting infantry to get to good cover, so he called out for armour support. An ISU-152 that was a few blocks away answered the call.
It fired one HE round and hit the Panther right in the gun mantle. The turret was torn off and the turret-less hull rolled backwards about 30 feet.
Seeing how the 152mm is balanced in games hurts my very soul.

I remember reading those "decapitations" were caused by anti concrete rounds not HE. Either way HE doesn't really behave realistically in game anyway. It just creates a ball of armor piercing shrapnel in all directions + causes hull break and damages destructible objects.

@@DOLLARplays yep, they did, obviously. I mean, just for a comparaison, germany does have a derp gun of their own, that has an HE shell that has even more armor penetration in fact. However, being germany, this peice of garbadge not only sits at 1.3, where it can pen the front plate of anything it sees, guaranteeing a one shot regardless of where it hits, but it has a 15 SECOND RELOAD!!! I mean this is absurd, why would germany have a 150mm gun that reloads in 15 seconds with 2 loaders when the KV-2 takes over a minute with 4 dedicated loaders????

but in generall HE and Hesh dont work as they should which makes them fun but not really that usefull cuz you dont really have a guarante that it will work

I think the most paintful part of the video was the HE 152 mm shells hahaha, its almost impossible to take down tanks with those. Love the videos btw, keep on going with it

True! In real life a 152 HE could blow the turret off a tiger with 1 shot, even if it hit at like 80 degrees

Playing the KV-2 at high tier was pretty rewarding.
(Been there, done that)
But after the HE got nerfed to oblivion, the KV-2 Is a shell of it's former self.
