Uncle Joe's Arcade (Plymouth Meeting PA), 4K arcade walkthrough & tour, May 2024

Uncle Joe's Arcade is an independent token-and-ticket arcade like you just don't see that often anymore these days. Formerly located at the nearby Willow Grove Park shopping mall, they recently relocated to the Plymouth Meeting Mall and more than doubled their space. $20 gets you a hundred tokens (or more, if you visit on a weekday), and you'll have more than enough to play their very fairly priced mix of retro video games, redemption and crane machines, and a mix of classic and modern pinball. It can get very busy on the weekends, as it's a popular space for birthday parties in the area and is frequently booked in advance. The owner and operator is very friendly and more than happy to discuss the business and games with anyone coming in, so be sure to say hi!

Love this place! Much cheaper than Dave & Buster's -- at Uncle Joe's you can spend under five bucks and get a decent amount of game play ( D&B requires minimum purchase of $35, and it will last about 15 minutes).

If they have some decent prizes I see a few things I'd sit and rack up on, but other than that I'm not sure I'd come out just for--HOLY FUCK they have Theatre of Magic. ...yeah I might have to get out there at some point, that thing was my goddamn childhood.
