I go to this spot on a daily it’s a pretty good spot for fishing we’ve caught a red drum before some stingrays and a couple of bonnet head sharks

i ain’t never caught no jacks yet i am still living vicarious through all my favorite youtubers😅. but anyways I did see one from Landshark Outdoors where cooked up a whole mess of them and showed how to correctly prepare them to where they are not a trash fish anymore. Blew my mind! So now I wanna eat one too.

i met a person the other day who like to fish too, and we were tradin’ stories as fishermen and women do. haha. And to my great surprise, he mentions SLP and I was like oh so you know it’s dangerous and you needa be careful? And he was like, ummmm what? It scared me but also surprised me cuz he was talking about how he’s wading SLP?!?! And I was like please sir, please please please just be careful because multiple people drown there every year, unfortunately. Ain’t telling you to not fish. Because you gotta! But be aware of the risks at certain high current spots like the mouth of the Brazos and SLP! I mean it really really “floored” me that he wades SLP and asked me what? when I said about the undertows there. Glad he met me!😂

As soon as you said "most dangerous" in Texas I knew exactly where you were going to be. Used to wade fish out there a long time ago, and always had to be wary while in that water.

What I don’t get , is I go to San luis a lot an I hardly ever get a bite! I went last Saturday an even ran baits out with a jet ski an nothing.

second this, I had a hobie kayak I took out 3-4x a week at SLP for 2-3 years when I lived in Galveston. Fish the cuts, fish the bridge pilings (always convicts, specks, drum, sharks), and depending on time of year Cold Pass and Titlum Tatlum are teeming with flatties, specks, and drums, bonnetheads too) good luck

No it's not potato potato. It's pronouncing it right not by a different name. That's okay I'm not the only one that had seen it and said something. You're the one doing the video and they have signs right there ready to go to the bridge and going into it what it's called. For someone to have a piss poor attitude especially doing videos to the public will definitely lose people. Says a lot about the type of person you are.
