Let's take a moment to appreciate the beauty of this place!!! Every 2 minutes I was like, whoah! Almost needed to pause it to take it all in.
Plot twist: My man at 1:26 isn't part of the race. He just looked down at his phone and saw 25 missed calls from his mum and 13 new messages.

Such an awesome race it must've been! Great job!

@@Luislopez1114 yes instead of break dancing
@@Luislopez1114 Why not both?
@@AtomicMonkeybutt who would fucking watch beak dancing? MTB is where it's at
@@Luislopez1114 Holy crap, its not just under serious consideration, breakdancings inception was recommended by the Olympics governing body for Paris 2024. What a goddamn travesty. Next up - beatboxing.
thank you Merci for sharing this great inspiring video with us!!
37:58 - that was close, I mean what were they thinking? :o
Just figure out, Damien is some 5 seconds earlier at the bridge and meet this idiots in the middle of this narrow footbridge.
pfff just nothing......
@@martinmaier352 To be fair they might have been there since the start of the race and decided to cross to the other side without imagining people would get there so soon. Really unfortunate timing. With that said, people should not be anywhere in the tracks at any given point, but that was just unlucky.
Disc temperature : 1200"c
lol
Legit tho
1000”c disc brake vs butter *you won’t believe what happend*
Totally. On the snow though it's at 0
I swear his discs are melting at the moment.

I sh.t my pants watching this. Incredible skill and speed. How on earth did he see the trail in those woods going that fast.
This takes "winning by a mile" to a whole new meaning.
When The Video Start I Was Like "OMG I Wanna Try This It Looks So Fun" Then The Snow Part Ended "Nope'.
Oh and then you will know the fun that will decide your life or dead
Hey there's this cool thing you can do...
Skiing...
Don't worry, its basically only on the snow.
Bro, the first dirt they hit was a massive pile of boulders. Thats when I decided that these guys have all made peace with whatever maker they have....
The first time you do this race, you're scared. But you want to race anyway, but most of all you're afraid. Because you don't know how it's going to go down.
Once you've done it, you know what to expect the next year. So the next year you're scared, and you're even more eager to race and you're scared too!

Was this rly allowed? The arrow showed to the right, thats why all went right way so, i think he cheated
@@daniematzani7842 This is the Mégavalanche, the rule is simple: if it is not taped, it is allowed. ANYBODY could have done the same. He is an elite-class enduro racer, he saw that line, kudos to him!!!
Kanye Houellebecq I mean sure he capitalized on it but you don’t think he would’ve done as good as he did without doing that, do you?
Thank you for an awesome buddy 😀
Joli run. C'est hyper plaisant à regarder et ça fait rêver.
How FAST is that dude at 1:26 going?!?! o_O
fast
F A S T is the correct answer :D
At least 5
Ludicrous Speed!
what makes him so much faster? it seems like theyre all off the breaks the whole time down that part
Respect my man
I watched it twice in order to believe it
No stupid background music or robot voice
Just fascination all the way . You deserved to win
smashed it!!!! not a word or a grunt well done!!!
I did this in 2012. Broke my chain and gears at 21:30 point. Took me 2.5 hours overall. Amazing ride and more amazing how fast the front runners are
Was the megavalanche still called the megavalanche back in the day?
@@kgkomrin yes
@@Lorneplumber ah thanks
Amazing ride, kinda a letdown at the end to see few people (spectators) at the finish line. Winner deserved a much larger crowd.
I agree!
They were all spread out in the entire course.
Saw another video of this event and there were more people there then. Guess they were late, lol
he just finished to fast LOL
That was the worst ending ever.
The stabilisation on the camera is pretty impressive !!
Its a go pro
That and it’s a helmet mount which gives a lot of stability.
Also there is probably a gimble

But the picture is still potato quality.
Olive probably just a hero 7 and nothing else
That was the most terrifying ride of my life!!!!!
I would of love it for the first time Experienced I will diehard
Supernatural, My brain freezes watching it. Huge respect man🤘👊😊
Saw the title and though there was going to be a big accident during the race.
About 6 minutes in I realized that was the name of the race.
At the end I decided that this was much cooler than any avalanche could have ever been and I was glad I watched every second.
There actually was a big accident behind him, you can see it in other videos as about 10-20 riders crash.
This is the most INCREDIBLE thing I have ever seen a human being do! I didn't see the title mentioning the win so I was enthralled as you took the lead and pulled away. The endurance blew me away, I couldn't believe it just kept going! I'm honored to have witnessed this, thanks for filming and sharing this, amazed! ☮️ Wheelchair John in Idaho USA 😎
