Im now studying this role, one of the most beaufitul ones in Mozarts literature, thank you for such a wonderful interpretation, very inspiering and touching.

I saw Hieidi Stober sing L'amero at the St Louis opera this year and it was terrific. I been looking for a similar interpretation of it ....I found it.. how wonderful

Finally! a version where the violin and the singer speak to each other rather than the former being just a part of the background music. And Linh has her own beautiful statement.... wich the recording was a little better ...

Superb. The best I have ever heard.

This is seriously impressive. Outstanding timbre and dynamics management, and I've heard great singers who cannot produce trills like that. I wouldn't mind hearing you do it with full orchestra,;-)

Ya, she can REALLY trill...how awesome to hear that, huh?

And I saw it too. Unfortunately, Heidi Stober was dealing with a bizarre concept production which made it difficult to connect with the material, as well as a choppy English translation (Metastasio's text may be trite and inane, but it is very singable.) I don't think we had a chance to see how well she could really do this, if not encumbered thus.

Can someone translate this song to English for me?
