@jaci_mac23 I hate to point out people on their opinions but that man made me angry, disgusted and embarrassed, at his comments, especially on the coaching staff of the most successful club in the afl era, it shows all ages have been spoilt by our yearly successes in the h&a games, ( I'm old too), I don't understand how anyone doesn't get that we are doing what they have been complaining about, giving the young players games to help develop them as old players are about to leave, sorry for the rant, go cats
@kevinohara2618 As supporters we have definitely been spoilt since 2007. I wasn't old enough to really experience '89, but I most certainly was old enough to feel the heartache of '92 (then '94 and '95), plus the straight sets loss of '97 (that one hurt more than 94 and 95 😡). So, I don't think I will ever take winning a premiership for granted.
We will all have our opinions, and we may not always agree. That's OK. I just like when people mix their venting w constructive view pts. Kinda why i really like Paul's videos as I think he's someone who i believe does strong analysis on the topics he covers. I might not always agree (most of the time I do), but I def respect his view.
Love Bowesy. I think the club has been trying too hard to get Parf (and Clarke) into the team. And as such, we keep pushing Bowes and Atkins into defence. Personally the best mix is Bowes and Axe into the midfield (with Tanner and Holmesy) and sorry love Parf but others are ahead of him.
It was interesting watching live at the ground then watching again this morning. I think a large missing piece is simply connection. There were a number of times where players ran to diff spaces than where the kicker was sending the ball. We have enjoyed a club of Duncan>Selwood>Hawkins, where it feels like they are using one brain ❤😂...constantly linking up beautifully. There are a lot of new faces that just need time playing together.
Finally it was all Rohan...we beat Richmond by 59pts once Rohan came on the ground 😂
Is any team able to maintain that level of pressure rating all match. Somehow got to even it up across the game. Also love to see how many mids we hold outside the contest in 1st half vs 2nd
Bad midfield especially in the 1st half. It is nice to play Richmond and Hawthorn in Geelong but Collingwood have not played in Geelong since 1999. The cats should request to play Collingwood in Geelong for next year.
This game reminded me of the old footy saying : You only play as well as your opposition allows you to. The Richmond midfield is weak, and the young Geelong mids had it easy. No Cripps, Walsh, Petracca, Oliver, etc etc to embarrass our boys. let’s see how they do against the Swans mids. Please keep Bowes in the team ahead of Parfitt
Who goes out this week for Blics? Does Jye Clarke come back in too? I love Osin but I would play Clarke over him
I'm not looking forward to cam Guthrie getting back, - his games this year were so-so at best.
