    Thanks so much! This was my wife & I's wedding song, and I would love to play it. Actually seems like one of the easier Phish songs to play.

    I really want to get this song down before V day, and was frustrated that the chords online didn't help at all. Your video is a blessing!! Thank you so much!!

    Wow, what a fantastic lesson. Love how you are going slow, and letting things build. The graphic is super helpful as well.

    Finally a website surpasses JDarks as the best site on the web for covering Grateful Dead tutorials and overall dedication to the craft. Amar, you give me one extra reason to wake up every morning. I love your lessons. Keep up the great work buddy!

    Exactly how I learned it! Great lesson man! I really like it in the key of C (I know a different lesson), but it's a bit easier to sing too. Thanks for all of your vids!

      Thanks for watching, Jamie! You're totally right, the Billy Breathes version (in C) is very pretty as well, and easier to sing for a lot of people

    Who's the artist on that beautiful painting in the back?

  • @myprettyselena

    While I always appreciate a great lesson I have to wonder why the nut on your chord diagram is on the left when most of the time teachers have them the right?

    When I play the second part where you have finger 3 on 5th fret of D and finger 1 barred on e,B,G my 3 finger keeps muting the G string...how do I get the flexibility to stop that?

  • @andrewkeizur8469
    @andrewkeizur8469 Před 4 lety

    where'd you get painting in the back? That thing is so cool

  • @ericpiette2315
    @ericpiette2315 Před 6 lety

    Awesome. I wish the instruction were in C. That's the key of the studio album and though sometimes live in D, seems like most times it's performed in C. I'm not bashing by any means and appreciate you taking the time to make these vids

    • @amarguitar
      @amarguitar  Před 6 lety +1

      Hi Eric, thanks for your comment. The song was only performed in C during 1996. For the last 20+ years it has been played in D, which is why I made this lesson in that key.
