भगवान शिव को भूलकर भी न चढाए ये 5 चीजें!
1. तुलसी यूं तो तुलसी की पत्तियां पूजा में काम आती है, लेकिन शिवपुराण के अनुसार तुलसी का इस्तेाल कभी भी भगवान शिव की पूजा के लिए नहीं करना चाहिए। ऐसा इसलिए क्योंकि भगवान शिव ने तुलसी की पत्नी असुर जालंधर का वध किया था।
1. Basil leaves are used in worship. But according to Shiva Purana, Tulsi should never be used for the worship of Lord Shiva.
This is because Lord Shiva killed Tulsi's wife Asur Jalandhar.
2. केतकी के फूल पौराणिक कथा के अनुसार केतकी फूल ने ब्रह्मा जी के झूठ में उनका साथ दिया था, जिके नाराज होकर भोलनाथ ने केतकी के फूल को श्राप दिया और कहा कि उनके शिवलिंग पर कभी केतकी के फूल को अर्पित नहीं किया जाएगा। इसी श्राप के बाद से शिव को केतकी के फूल अर्पित किया जाना अशुभ माना जाता है।

3. नारियल पानी शिवलिंग पर कभी भी नारियल पानी नहीं चढ़ाया जाता। ऐसा इसलिए क्योंकि देवताओं को चढ़ाया जाने वाला प्रसाद तो आप खा सकते हैं,
लेकिन शिवलिंग का अभिषेक जिन पदार्थों से होता है उन्हें ग्रहण नहीं किया जाता।

4.भगवान शिव वैरागी उन्हें सौन्दर्य से जुड़ी चीजें पसंद नहीं है। इसलिए कोई भी श्रृंगार की वस्तु भाले बाबा को नहीं चढ़ाएं। हल्दी भी सौन्दर्य वर्धक माना गया है इसलिए हल्दी और केसर भी शिव जी को नहीं चढ़ाएं। यह सौभाग्य और समृद्धि के लिए भगवान विष्णु को चढ़ाना चाहिए।
Lord Shiva is Vairagi and him does not like things related to beauty. Therefore, no item of makeup should be offered to Baba.
Turmeric is also considered as a beauty enhancer, so turmeric and saffron are also not offered to Shiva. It should be offered to Lord Vishnu for good luck and prosperity
5. शंख से भोले बाबा को जल नहीं चढ़ाना चाहिए। शिवपुराण के अनुसार भगवान भोलेनाथ ने शंखचूड़ नामक असुर का वध किया था। भगवान विष्णु का भक्त होने के कारण शंख से विष्णु और लक्ष्मी की पूजा होती है।
