Sounds somewhat similar to New Zealand (where it's also summer). BBQ and outdoor eating are very typical, potato salad and fresh salads are common. For dessert dishes we have trifle and pavlova, with lots of fresh fruit (berries in particular), often ice cream, jelly (jello), chocolates. There are usually some more traditional English/northern hemisphere foods too (especially on Christmas eve where the main meal is in the evening), like roast turkey/ham/whatever and vegetables, nuts, fruit mince pies, Christmas pudding or cake, etc. so I guess it's a bit of a mix.

Soy de Polonia y los platos típicos allí son: sopa de remolacha con albóndigas, sopa de champiñones, pescado frito, tarta de queso, pastel de amapola y para beber compota de frutos secos
Aquí en los estados unidos específicamente en el norte en la comunidad Afro-Americano comemos varios carnes, arroz, las berzas, pan de maíz y tarta de batata

Aqí en Alemania no comemos nada frío, sino carne asada y verduras. Tenemos postres de Italia tambien por ejemplo el famoso tiramisu o pana cotta. Muy rico. Saludos cordiales

I'm from somewhere in North America that doesn't get super cold in the winter, but I don't think I can ever get over the peculiarity of the hot summer Christmas down south. It's just too weird to me. 😂
Qué interesante! Soy de Canadá y nuestra comida para las fiestas es muy diferente. Mi plato típico favorito para Navidad es el pavo con puré de papas y arándanos. También comemos "tourtière", un pastel de carne, usualmente una mezcla de ternera molida y carne molida. Mi postre favorito es "la bûche de Noël aux marrons" que es un bizcocho enrollado con crema de castañas en el centro. Feliz Navidad a todos!

Es un video para estudiantes de nivel intermedio. ¿Por qué hablar de esa manera tan lenta? No sé habla así en la vida real. Creo que sería mucho más provechoso para los estudiantes escucharte a una velocidad normal, con buena dicción pero hablar de manera real. My two cents.
Eso se corresponde con nuestro nivel avanzado. La definición de nuestro nivel intermedio es: lo más fácil que sea posible sin uso extensivo de dibujos u otros elementos visuales.
