With 450YZF it requires 15-20hr oil change since it's MAX 725 ml (manual calls for .69L) with a filter change. And best advice with 450 is always have a new X ring chain! What went wrong was too much oil?? There is a screw that drains extra oil out to the proper level the manual shows for stock magneto cover where it's at.
