@Jordan knowles Personally, I got no problem with that. His problem was, he Thought he had a platform to make his views heard, when hardly anyone would ride with him.
      .
His a played a pair of dueces, in the game of poker, while every other player had a better hand.
He gambled & lost. I don't like it, but his timing was waaay off & he was left riding solo.
      In the immortal words of
      Clint Eastwood...
A man's gotta know his- "Limitations".

Come on guys.., this is the same thing people said about Cosby for years, not to say MJ and Cosby are the same in any way; it just the Halo effort we put on these people, especially from their contemporaries. MJ was about getting money to support his habit, he did not do anything to change the world (as we can see) that didn't have some monetary value attached. To me, that's a major human flaw of character.

I don't know what all your talking about, all I'm saying is MJ can do no wrong to the current set of commentators in the media, they grow up in his era and their careers are tied to his success. Boycotting the league is not wise, I can agree, but MJ never cared about sociopolitical events because he didn't want to F up his money, he said that much in the documentary. When Travon Martin got murdered no one boycotted the league, a few athletes made a statement. I'm sure some white folks and Jason Whitlock didn't like it, but we moved on. As the biggest star in the league he had power, how he used it was up to them. We can all agree MJ was a great athlete, but their is no consensus on his character.

MJ was underpaid as a player for years but made so much money for the league. His 2001-2002 salary went to 9/11 victims. Donated $30M last year in charities. The Last Dance proceeds will all go to charity.
But the only things people want to talk about is he's a selfish, lost money to Slim Bouler and Richard Esquinas, isn't a social activist, and he punched Steve Kerr in the face. And if he had mistresses like Karla Knafel, let's talk about that too! 🤦🏻‍♂️
Lay off the guy. Hard enough to be mobbed like him and having so much patience towards people where everybody wants a piece of you. MJ never really wanted the fame like Kurt Cobain but had to live through it.
