That's what he is trying to avoid, He's trying to destroy "mainstream" or popular types of edm. Same with alot of DJ's but i feel Dillon is one that is doing an amazing job.

Mayoshix This if anything, is incredibly mainstream, it has the same Prog-House melody as most EDM songs, where it goes OooOooOooOooOoOo, where the big 'O's are notes being played, and the small 'o's are gaps. However, many of his new songs such as 'Set me free', and others in 'Money Sucks, Friends Rule' (His new album) are less mainstream. However, if you wanna find a great producer who is right up there, search up Porter Robinson. His latest album 'Worlds' has completely gone away from mainstream stuff and is incredibly unique, and as much as Dillon is slightly going away from mainstream stuff, Porter is a much better example if you're looking for less mainstream stuff :)

I used this song to get over my first love. Im 20 it happened last year. SOunds sad but if you listen to the lyrics it made me feel powerful and it taught me how to be ok with being alone sometimes.

This song is so different from his other ones, I love it. Used to listen to it when I was going through a rough time , this song got me through every day. Definitely one of the songs that I hold close to my heart.

I love this music video so much! So well directed, edited, filmed and acted! It's just so amazing I can't describe it! It fits this epic song well and the nice looking girl makes it awesome too ;) Hopefully one day I can direct/edit music videos as awesome as these, but that seems like a dream that's impossible to realise.
