- Hello! As you can probably tell, I'm not an expert when it comes to sewing and crafting, but I wanted an Ita bag and thought it would be fun to try making my own. I decided to share it because I thought someone else might get inspiration from it.
I did learn one big thing I want to share in case you decide to make your own:
The interfacing I used was too thick. I wanted thick interfacing so it would be stiff inside the bag and not fold over on itself after putting the pins on. However, this makes it difficult to put the pins through the fabric. I had to poke holes first, and I loosened one of my pin backs trying to put it through. Plus, the pins fall off sometimes because the fabric is so thick! (Good thing its inside a bag, but still... You don't want to be fixing it all the time.) I want to remake it with less sturdy interfacing because I think it will be stiff enough with the other two layers of fabric.
If you have any tips or ideas of your own, I would love to hear them!

this is so cute, i might totally steal the idea... having pins on all sides of the bag is so unique~
Thank you! Yeah, I liked the idea of being able to see them all over the bag. If you make it and have any tips or want to share you result, please do!
