This graph doesn't show subscription. Its show unique players connected per day... I mean, a lot of players are subscribed to the game and didn't play for the last 3 months or so.
Dragon Nest was so ahead of its time. It was a big part of my teenage years and will stay on top of the list of my favorite games. Definitely one of the best MMORPGs to date

Lost ark did try to copy the juggle elements but that game was isometric style so it looks kinda boring even with the juggle system pvp. Action combat is the only way for that to work@@georgepierre3594
Lot of angry people but folks don’t realize world wide usage may be different than just US. Nice see to Legend of Mir being represented. I saw another that showed WoW leading charts when Legend of Mir 2 and 3 both had the gold for quite awhile.

DC Universe is an amazing game and has a lot of players . King of Kings 3 by gpatatoe used to be my favorite and has been the best MMORPG I have played other than Black Desert Online.
I never got to play Dark Ages of Camelot, and I understand it wasn’t traceable and that’s why it’s not on there. I’m still very curious where it would land for its time. It was a big one for awhile and had some really cool sounding siege mechanics for player-versus-player Risk-like territory control. Neat list anyway.
Daoc is the best game I've ever played I think he had a max of 250k active accounts during the SI era (2003). I've played many multiplayer gems (classic cs and arcsystem works fighting games) no game have ever topped daoc

And for those of you who think black desert is pay to win paying for extra inventory slots or extra character slots whilst it gives you an advantage doesn’t really cause significant inconvenience to gameplay. Besides that it’s Grindy as hell and relies a lot on afk plus gear upgrades rely on rnjesus but mob farming is fun and even if the rnjesus is strong it’s not to the point you can’t play.

man dragon nest was my teen game, amazing game with a great quest bosses and skill tree for each individual class and each skill, I never knew it was a popular game, I was in love with it and had a lot of friend, my memory is kinda fuzzy but I think my phone or pc broke or what and I completely stopped playing and in 2021 I searched for that game like my life depended on it and one thing I remember is being assassin class who hated mechanic class in 1v1 arena because they were too op and searched for a way to counter them and I searched everywhere from that memory and found it but unfortunately system were shut down and I was so sad and upset that I stopped playing my dream game where there are many different class, skill, and most important of all HUGE SKILL TREE not to mention it being free, truly good times.

This data was bad. First FFXIV was reported as the most active mmo around 2019 surpassing every other MMO. WoW was also consistently marked as the biggest playerbase in the late 2000s surpasing RuneScape. This was bad data and any every other source proves that.
