Missing one step. Click on the little man (head and shoulders, second from right in the menu at the bottom of the screen) to make sure you are on the home screen. The country flag should show immediately at the top right hand side. Click on flag then you can do it.

Do you have any additional suggestions? I don't have what the video suggests, to go from settings and then country and language. It doesn't give me country and language in that section.
When I click that head and shoulders icon and it takes me to my profile, at the top right hand corner it shows a US flag (I have both a Canadian and American account... But honestly I never really noticed if there was a Canadian flag there in the past).
When I click the flag it allows me to check my country and language both are correct, when I go back to my account it's showing info from the American one which I rarely use.
Weird thing is it also shows me some things from my regular content.

@lindasue8719 from the homepage click the little man until you see a flag at the top, then click there to change country and/or language. The video shows the old method, this is the new method! 😉

Thanks so much for this! I accidentally changed it to Italy/italian after a purchase there, which was easy to do as I did it when it was in English. My Italian is basic , so I couldn't figure out how to do it when it was all in Italian having not done it before

Thank you so much it works . I google a product and it showed up at Amazon in another country so clicked on it not realizing it would change my settings to that country. Well later on I went to check my order history and it was saying that I had no orders . I order from Amazon frequently and that’s when I realized what happened it changed my country. Thank you so much!!!

omg thank you so much. I clicked on an amazon link from Canada and it switched my country and I could not find this to save my life. I hadn't realized that you need to SCROLL DOWN once you hit the hamburger icon. I was searching in Account Settings to no avail. Thannnnk Youuuu!

I recently got a bug up me arse for Zippo lighters basically because they're pure Americana. I also happen to be a Rush fanatic. They're a band from Canada.
I couldn't find a Rush lighter on Amazon here in the U.S. so I Googled it and checked, "images" to find it on Amazon (sold out) in Canada. I switched countries to view it. When I went back to Amazon, I was still in Canada and lost all my history on my account.
Maybe it's my fault but your directions didn't work for me. I decided to Google Zippo lighters alone and go back to images. I found one on Amazon in the U.S. I had to switch countries again. Presto! I was back home!
This has outdated. Press the little human icon at the button, inside of the menu where Your Orders/ Buy Again is located, press the country flag at the top right and it will take you to the Country/Region settings.

Thank you, any other advice online is incorrect and takes you to preferences settings which doesn't work. This is the correct method!
This solution doesn't work anymore. What you can do is put
with no spaces in the search and it will give you an option to change the country from whatever country you were on previously.

I don't remember doing anything that would have changed my country.. and I can see some things from my normal country app and then some content seems to be from my American account. On my app when I click settings, I do not have the option for country and language.
At the top right hand corner when I open the app, then click the profile icon at the bottom of the screen, I now see a US flag which I didn't notice before. When I tap that, and confirm that my country and language are correct and then go back to the profile still shows the US flag and it seems to half and half excess my us content (which is not what I normally use).

It’s no current now. Click on the person icon at the bottom of the screen. On the top right is a flag for the current country. Then pick a new one. There’s no option for country and language from the “Hamburger” menu
