instantly subscribed, if the rest of your videos are as good as this I'll love you forever. I barely ever comment on video but the funny undertones of the video and the trippy application of this pedal have just made me fall in love with it and you
Oh damn! Thanks a bunch! You may be disappointed to see most of my content isn't like this. I'm in the middle of recording an album. I'll be uploading videos again very soon. Thanks for the support!
Yeah! You can check out my Bedrone Series here in CZcams. Planning on uploading more ambient pedal music as well. Also check out The Sunshine Group on SoundCloud!
To avoid malfunctions of on/off switch and weird performance of whichever of the 7 algorithms, you should make sure you are using at least a 1.3 A adapter.
I just my Polara, and the switch gives off an audible pop, but if you engage trails mode, the popping sound goes away. The real problem I have with my pedal, is that in HALO mode, I can hear high frequency switching noise, so I have to back off the level and the decay quite a bit, or lower the gain going into the pedal. The strange thing is, it only does it in HALO mode, all the other reverbs are silent. Do you find this ?
Hmmm, that's kind of strange. No, this doesn't happen with my Polara. You should definitely email Electro Harmonix about it and get yourself a new one, since you Just got it. That doesn't seem right.
Lmao yeah that was just a silly addition to the list. that being said, there are spring reverb boxes that serve as guitar pedals.....! So I guess not always, but yeah, 99.9%of the time, it’s a digital algorithm.
Thanks for asking! I drops my low string to a B to create a low drone with the Freeze, and the Polaris Halo effect is causing the notes I'm playing to sound angelic. But yes it's all played with a guitar
@@vanseventy only 1 freeze was used at the beginning on that chain for the making of this video. Pedals+keys are amazing, and strangely much different than pedals+guitar.
I disagree with you my friend about the cons of this pedal, there is no faulty, switch, the light indicator is totally fine and the Jack inputs are perfect, this pedal has no cons find me another reverb pedal that sounds that bream for 129€!TC HOF cannot hold a handle to the Polara.
hey man, what can I say! I really wanted to make a video about this pedal, but I kept having my typical problems while filming, so I thought I'd mention it to others. I honestly don't treat my pedals very well (as you can see by the band-aid on my Freeze!) so it may be my own fault, but the pedal definitely had iffy inputs right out of the box (as in, cables don't fit nice and snug inside). Glad you're enjoying your Freeze with no problems! I'm quite jealous actually.
@@TheSunshineGroup you are totally right. same problem happens to me now, 4 years since you dropped this demo. the jack cable does not fit well to the output socket my Polara. I wonder if it's the one who causes signal-drop that often happens
i don’t know if i’m on acid right now or watching a pedal demo
This is the greatest comment I've ever received
a little from column A and a little from column B
This is the best video if have ever listened to and watched!

The Sunshine Group do you have any of your music you could suggest I listen to if you have any already?

I'm just using a 1-Spot :p
I guess I should check the amps, huh?
I know it's an older vid, but it's new to me! As soon as I saw the Pros and Cons, boom! Liked and subscribed. 🎸
Lol thanks, I had dreams of doing more pedal reviews and making a theme out of the Pros and Cons but alas, time got away from me!
Very psychedelic ...and i f*@!#%ng love it
If your switch doesn't work, it's because of a lack of electric feed. I just made the same mistake. Use a 500 mA !
Very well made, thank you!
0:24 5 notes that spark a memory that i cant catch
from a time long past
"You will find god"
Wow. The Freeze looks like a robot face at the end. So we have proof: god is a frozen robot!
can you tell the type of the switch? i think mine is broken and i got to find a replacement

@@TheSunshineGroup Digitech :D
@@Elkesar1 lol oops, I think I was looking at the Freeze in the thumbnail and thought EHX! Good eye ;)
Maravilhoso!!!
Omfg I love this!
very cool. just wondering, aren't reverb pedals always digital by definition?

3:00 how did you made this Sounds With your guitar?

The Sunshine Group Wow, thanks I'm gonna buy this pedal :D
Nice video mang.
What setting do you have the freeze on? Great video btw
Thanks! I have it forever on Latch. My selector switch broke so I decided to mod the Freeze to stay on Latch forever!
Thank you. I've just ordered a polara to go with my freeze. Haven't seen it used like this on any other video and it's exactly what I'm after.
psych out bro
You should try to contact digitech. Mine doesn't do that but now I'm scared it will
Have a polar and now going to get a freeze first thing in the morning
You won't regret it, I have two of them lol. One at the beginning of my chain, one at the end ;)
When you made this video was it two freeze pedals or one? Thanks for the video. I use guitar pedals with keyboards and it sounds amazing.

Digital is a con? They don't make analog reverb pedals. At least not any that sound good.
I also included it as a Pro ;)
There are plenty of analog (spring) reverbs that sound great! But that takes up a lot of space
Lol math is scary...
Gotcha Love ya! ❤
