For the life of me, I don’t know why he doesn’t use this as a training campus, pending how many rooms there are, and use it to train other athletes. Turn it into a private resort for athletes. He can turn it into a museum just like Elvis Presley’s house and put all his memorabilia in there. There’s just so much that can be utilized. Jordan’s past home is a LANDMARK. It should never be sold or tampered with.

So I just left from other there. The reason it can't be a museum is because it is actually in a pretty thick residential enclave. His neighbors would never go for a bunch of tourists coming through there. I thought the same until I went by there.
I remember in 2002 I was working for a moving company and we moved a lady in a mini mansion on the left side of the entry gate ,my cousin who I was working with went up to the gate and ring the button and a man answered and he said who is this my cousin said is MJ their he didn't answer so we stood on top of the moving truck and saw how beautiful the mansion was those were good memories.
He worked hard for what he has I'm happy for him and his gift for the game he's a real business man "go Jordan"!!!

The reason it’s not selling is because of the design. If a person or couple have the millions to spend then they won’t spend it on a house that was built in the 90s, that looks like it was built in the 90s. A price drop might be needed...For a 6th trophy I mean, time.

If this area had California or NY rich type people, it probably would’ve sold despite that (& they would’ve remodeled what they didn’t like,particularly the exterior).
The Chicago area has wealthy people, but one can find- as you essentially said - more modern homes here for half the price + closer to the lake. Thus, although 10+ years on the market is overall shocking, it’s not surprising in general that he’s having to work overtime to sell it.
Not super modern + not in an obscenely rich and super marketed area of the USA (for foreign buyers) like California or NY + asking too much for what/where it is (which wouldn’t even be considered a prime area to a lot of us Chicagoans) = on the market for 10+ years

If anyone is curious the house is about $455per sq ft if u count just the home (at 35k sq ft) but it’s only $46 per sq ft if u count the entire 7 acres

This house is not inside the city of Chicago it’s in highland park Illinois the home of Ravinia. Ravinia is a beautiful park where people go for entertainment outside. Pack your own picnic food and pay money for a spot inside the park. Highland park is beautiful

That’s a bad area for $29 million House if the average house in that area is just above $500,000 half million. No wonder why it’s not being sold. You might as well buy the whole area and tear down and make mansions in that area then you will have a better chance of selling it For your asking price. Doesn’t make sense to put a $29 million mansion a month houses that are just over $500,000 that wasn’t really a smart investment move. If you’re going to build mansions build amongst other mansions in nicer neighbourhoods

Couple things probably keeping it from selling, one its in Chicago not exactly the most desirable city to live in, two if someone has 14.5M to buy a house they would probably just build one the way they want it. Unless of course they're huge Jordan fans, which apparently is a small market.
