- In this video I played on the London map from GeoGuessr! I played with default settings and a 5 minute time limit, and this video is also a play along. Can I get a perfect score? Keep watching to find out! This is the eighth video in my Subscriber Series! This was pretty hard, and I'm not as good as GeoWizard or GeoPeter yet, but I'll get there.
This isn't distance Battle Royale, country streaks, or NMPZ - this is GeoGuessr on the London map. You can also play along with me!

Wow! That camera quality really is good. Even Google Maps looks a lot sharper in the video too. Kinda gonna miss the days of you yelling at your laggy old laptop though! 😂 R.I.P.

Fun. We both 5K'd it. You did it much faster than me (9 minutes 30 to my 13 mins 16) but I got closer (41 yards total to your 56). I'm sure had you used up the full time you'd have got closer than I did. Just added you as a friend on Geoguessr, feel free to ignore it 🙂
Round 4 is a shocker!.. I placed myself near where you did, and dropped points... you must have been *just* inside the distance for 5k!
yeah I got 5 out 5 but lazy clicking meant no perfect score. No way that shop is on that road though!

Wow, even for not being so confident with London you pulled off that 25K really well! I'm more of a guess as close as possible within 10 seconds kind of geoguessr player but these 25K games are really impressive to watch. Well done!

I wonder what bug caused the problem with round 4? If you go to the location on Street View the little yellow person is in the right place, but GeoGuessr puts the location on the street behind.
By the way, the official GeoGuessr London map only includes the centre, so it's a lot easier than maps that include the entire city.
Hey awesome to see a new video. Your recording seems to be cutting off the bottom of the GeoGuessr screen. If you go to 6:30 for example we don't even see the score at all.
Yeah I did notice that once I’d uploaded, super annoying - going to have a play around with it and try and fix it!
I failed badly on the first round but the others went ok except that one in a shop. I lost some points there. Rounds 2 and 3 were quite easy. I recognized the places even I've been to London only twice.
RIP old laptop - but there are worse ways to go than death by chocolate. ;)
By the way, if you don't mind me asking, what software do you use to record your play-alongs and how big would a 12 minute file be? I tried using VSDC and even at 30fps it was very juddery and the file was something like 3 gig!
I use OBS to record! and to be honest I literally have no idea about file size because I’m rubbish with technology 😂
@@tabithawilson8819 Thanks! I'll check it out. The fact you have no idea about file size must mean that the file size is good, because otherwise you'd soon realise it was too large as you'd have no hard disk space left. 3 gigabytes is more than half of your average DVD!
