- We looked under the couch cushions here at The Berrics and found just enough money to buy five trash completes at Walmart. These things will kill you: no grip, all plastic, and bearings that barely roll; you get what you pay for. We tricked Aurelien Giraud into doing tricks for milkshakes on these things and he almost died-seriously, convince your parents to take you to a skateshop for a legit skateboard and don't let them settle for these death traps!

@@kotadixon9126 Well it was all I could afford when I first started skating and was able to learn a bloody kickflip on it. For $20, I'd say a kickflip was worth it lol.

Somebody threw a skate board out the other day and it was next to there trash cans. I got so hyped and then i realized it was a k mart jawn. I was going to give it to my neighbor who wants to learn how to sk8, but i just couldn't do it to him. I think im just going to buy him a complete!!! Its only right!!

My mom took me to a toy store to get me a complete board when i started skating and learned small ollies on my Pennyboard back then... i tried an ollie in the store on a board and it cracked a little... my mom put that complete board back on the shelf and we went to a proper skatestore right after and got me a quality board instead that lasted me about 6 months

It's super slippery, friend of mine has been to the Berrics once and he told us it was very hard to get used to but really nice once you get the hang of it.

This is so weird, just this morning I was watching his part, then me and my wife went shopping for a birthday gift for our three year old nephew, we stared at these exact boards at target for so long and ultimately couldn't justify spending that much on junk boards. Had the best board Zellers had to offer, weight a tone but thinking back it had metal trucks and decent wheels to roll on so not too bad... Learned kickflips on that board!

The difference between the berrics and braille just became very obvious.
In the UK these completes tend to have the wheel nuts too tight (perhaps to stop kids/beginners from "speeding" to their death?), just loosen them a fraction so there's a very slight rattle and they're so much better. The setup is still shit but surprising how many beginners we bump into and don't realise they can make it way more skateable with just a T-tool. No clue if this is the same anywhere else in the world.

Nah every kid needs tot start off ona shitter frst then go thru that experience using it for a nonth then realizing its not a real board n ask ya parents n then go to a shop and pick out ur first complete . Its not the same when ur first board is real and ya never skated before ya dont realize how special that is cuz half the kids ive seen get a real complete first use it once n never touch it now thier folks jus wasted $150 like i did with my lil cuz.

I’d be afraid to increase the chances of injury on Wal-Mart completes, than simply buy the real deal! Even logo decks are sometimes made cheaper than pro models, but why? My first complete was a Birdhouse Hawk Pterodactyl/Tracker B-2 trucks/Spitfire Classic Swirls/Bones Reds/Shortys hardware/Jessup grip. Good times!
